This game was life changing!!
If you love video games then this one is right up your alley!
I jump scared at least 4 or maybe even 5 times (lol)
good game with some great scares and the pacing is quite warm!
Fantastic experience with a little road speedbumps along the path!

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a 10/10 . A well written tragic melancholic story with an ending that left me satisfied, Insanely good soundtrack, memorable characters with emotional complexity, fun spin on an otherwise done to death game play formula & fantastic world building/exploration.

I'm not usually one to glaze the story of a game but honestly Ex33 easily has one of my favourite's that I've ever experienced. There's something about a story revolving around the brutal realisation that people will go to extreme lengths to escape pain, trauma & loss, trying to fix something you know is broken even if it makes it worse in the process.

If you love Tim Burton stop-motion style of movies then this is right up your alley.

Pro's:
- The art design & use of stop motion is absolutely beautiful. I spent a large portion of my play through just appreciating everything around me. The clay-sculpted visuals made me so nostalgic for the classic claymation movies.
- The attention to detail with the sound design & use of soundtrack to match environments is done very well (Ost is also banging on top of that)
- The world building is very enticing. The characters you meet along your path are interesting & I found myself wanting to learn more about them & their background stories.
- The creature & character designs are superb
- Voice acting was top notch.
- POTBOY IS SUCH AN AMAZING CHARACTER :'(
- The story is powerful & emotional. You will resonate with at least one of the chapters.

Cons:
- The Puzzles are a bit bland at times.
- The price of the game is a little steep for the length
- The gameplay started to get a little repetitive by the end of the game (Sorta helps that its very short, so not a big deal tbh)
- Bits of the story can be a little confusing if you don't fill in the blanks & understand some of the symbolism/metaphors etc

Overall I think this is a fantastic little game that is a love letter to classic claymation & stop motion films. It tells its own unique story in a world that's beautiful in how its built and visually as well. Its not something I would do a second play through of but it will be remembered for a long time.
