Incredible. This game is absolutely incredible. Now you might think that I'm glazing a little too much, but honestly I was blown away with how much there is to explore and discover in this game. Now the early game is a little bit generic when it comes to ARPGs but power through the first 3 hours and unlock the entire world and you will quickly understand how amazing this game actual is.

This is honestly the first game where I have found that the world truly feels alive. There are hundreds of NPCs to interact with and grinding for masteries, at my measly 11,800 rating leads you exploring the world, gathering resources to boost your stats just a little higher as you work your way towards the game cap.

Now I've heard a lot of people complain about the level cap, and although I don't agree with it, its necessary and I'm thankful that they have put it in place to save us from chinese players who know how to exploit the leveling system. The level cap also forces you to explore the world rather than just play main story until you hit max level which is something that keeps players coming back every day for their daily rewards and also to spam their sect quests, bounties and multiplayer modes to get adventure slips to go towards snagging some cool cosmetics.

The only downside for me is the limit on free cosmetics. The vibrant hair colour being locked behind a premium gacha system is a little sad but you can get free credits for the gacha by defeating wandering martial artists which are highlighted on your map and I was lucky enough to get myself a bright hairstyle which makes my character stand out in a crowd of players that weren't lucky enough to get a decent gacha roll.

All in all I am eagerly awaiting future updates and I can't wait to see just how much content there is at end game.

Pro tip, if you get stuck and can't find any information on a certain quest or item you need to gather, use chatgpt. It takes information that chinese players have posted and fetches it for you in english or your language of choice.

I did enjoy the game. I played over 1800 hours on Survival evolved and nearly 500 hours on this but I can't support this game anymore. Goodbye wildcard you have lost me on this.

Everything is about money, the passion that the developers once had is well and truly dead. The only thing they care about is micro transactions for cosmetics and some pretty insane pay to win items.

This game was originally suppose to be a free expansion and I wasn't too mad when they changed their minds last minute because I understood they needed money to make a new game. But this is too much. I will not be part of this cash grab anymore.

Goodbye ark, the memories will be missed but the developers can go and screw themselves.

Servers for this game will shut down in august as wildcard ports the game into UE5. The UE5 version of the game will then be marked at $50 for the base game and $20 for each of the dlcs.

Jeremy decided to make an announcement in January that the update for the UE5 version of the game will be free for all those who own the game and have payed for the dlcs. But no. Wildcard have now publicly announced that the game will be released at full price and they are also forcing you to buy ARK 2 along side the update.

Wildcard are a bunch of money grabbing C words and if you are considering buying this game I would advise you to keep your money and go somewhere else. Please don't spend any money on this game or its disgusting developers.

Its an alright game for roleplaying or for simply building things that you like. It has a fun community but you are garenteed to get rdmed.
