I am not proud of how many hours I have spent brutalizing chickens in this game. But in my defence, they return the favour. The floating cows are adorable, but explosive, be careful! Also don't forget to drop your teleport disc and try and blow it into the air (use the egg for invulnerability if you're bad like me and blow yourself up often) and then teleport to it while it's in the sky for extra cool points!

Two words: Caveat emptor. Before buying this be well aware! When you first purchase this game the first thing you will notice is inflation. Everything is tens to hundreds of thousands. Want a small $50 tattoo on your butt? $68,000 thanks. Want some shoes? $250,000! Leather motorcycle jacket? $180,000. Wait, you want it black instead of pink and green stripes? That'll be $450,000 thanks! Every car you try and jack when it tells you to choose your first ride is 'premium' and locked. All the missions are dreadful. And all the buildings are fake bar like 5 in a 50 kilometer radius. Controller controls are counter intuitive, you'll need to change them straight up.

You can't buy a house for a long while, and all houses are pretty much fluff. Can't play tennis because there's no one online. Can't play mini games. Can't be an executive running a business because there's no businesses only phoney sham fronts and mafioso fluff RP text. There's no stock market, no purchasing or sale of things, and no way to make money bar grinding boring deathmatch style missions.

Oh, also, EVERYTHING has a padlock on it.

You need to be level 50-100 to access 90% of the content. So don't buy anything - you'll regret it later because if you can access it it's noob. Oh, speaking of buying. Pay to win? Hell yeah. They named it right with the SHARK CARD. Because they're definitely shark's out for your shekels. And the drop outs, omfg. I literally spent 20 hours waiting to play about 1 hour of gameplay, so I've gone through the 2 hour refund region. You'll definitely need to queue up some YouTube in the background to make the huge amount of wait sufferable.

Tbh, I am seeking a refund from Rockstar for it. Whether I'll get it, who knows. I know Steam would screw me over like they always do because it's been more than 2 hours. Mind you it took me 19 hours just to download it and 30-40 10 minute lags looking for online servers. But hey, screw me for taking more than two hours to wait to see if I can actually play the game. I'm miffed I wasted $80. I knew I'd have buyers remorse when they screwed PC users over so royally taking a year and a half to port it. But I didn't realise how evident it would be.

Bought the Digital Duluxe Edition with a season pass. Total waste of money. No Freedom Cry DLC included without buying it seperately (even though the page itself says the DLC is available if you already have Black Flag duluxe or season pass) but the game was otherwise alright. There's not many pirate themed games out there that don't suck, this one did it okay. Nothing GREAT but definitely above average. Although like all Asscreed games it's filled with collectibles and lame pseudo-achievements and other stuff that only OCD people bother with.

This could have been amazing. It could have raised the bar, so that twenty year old Sub Sim's weren't the current goto contemporary simulator in the field. But Ubisoft Poland dropped the ball by removing everything that made Silent Hunter great. There's no level of customization of crew and equipment anywhere near the older versions. There's no developing your crew, or betterment of your men, instead you get derpy yellow ! quest giver's without quests who just repeat the same lines about their family, and usually bug out and insist they have something new to say but repeat the same thing. This could have been great, the graphics are really good for it's era, even still, but the let down is in the depth and the missions. You'd think removing ALL the customization and RPG aspects would have been to allow them to add more missions and more game depth, but nope. Oh, and all versions are censored German versions where nothing historic will be depicted on your otherwise authentic U-boat.

Expect to be left clicking 400-500 times in a row just to progress the narrative slug by slug, awkward line by awkward line. Cupid is a low quality attempt at interactive fiction. Repetitive low quality audio sounds with hard break gaps of silence where it loops noticably. Poor illustrations, comparative to some random weebs deviant art. And a story, oh Cthulhu what a story. It is befitting something you would find on wattpad or one of those places teenage girls ramble their incoherent barely literate nonsense. I am glad it was free or I would be filing a class action law suit demanding compensation for this atrocity. This is literally the cancer that is killing gaming, the kind of indie tripe that makes greenlight a wash of cautionary tales. This game is absolutely terrible.

So much potential, squandered. They released the entire game in stages selling it as DLC. The simple fact that normal things like basic replayability was sold to us as DLC was absurd enough, but the hostility of their community managers towards the earlier critics of the game is what caught my interest most of all as I take a keen interest in the use of suppression tactics against gaming media who aren't part of the sycophantic love-bomb crowd. You can tell a lot about developers and companies based on the way they handle criticism. Some people, like Squad, will cyber stalk their critics and try to 'expose' them for past misdeeds (in their eyes), others will wear it and even address it and repair their game improving it's standards. In the case of State of Decay it seemed they would actively delete any criticisms they encountered which left me far more cynical of their game overall. But even with a fanboy attitude when I first discovered the game it was another 'great potential, poor execution' zombie game, sadly. :(

Streamed it on YouTube, was repeatedly copyright struck for 'copyright music' from something in this game. Every single video in the series was struck. That should NOT happen and is so unprofessional of the developers to use material that they don't have license to use in a way we can safely play this game for others to see.
