A relaxing crafting survival game that is as much fun to play alone as it is with friends! Things are not explained very explicitly at first, but I appreciated uncovering those small mysteries myself. Those first few times when you feel the ground shaking around an unseen location creates such an ominous yet curious moment—it compels you to want to dig around and find out more, but you also think, you probably need better equipment than just wood pants.

I do wish the character backgrounds that you pick from in the beginning of the game had a bit more continuous impact, as after you establish a reasonable base and gain some extra skill points, your background really doesn't matter anymore. Maybe that's a good thing as it gives you complete freedom, but it feels like a somewhat useless feature that is easily forgotten.

Also, I appreciate the addition of boats! Now we need drawbridges so that we can still cross over rivers by land, and also not have to pick up our boat every time we need to move to a new body of water.

As content keeps being added, I look forward to the fully-featured release!
