Gacha balls.

It's a gacha game and as such there are three rules.

You will never be the best, the only measure of strength is besting yourself.
You will never have everything, so work for what you want and be content with what you have.

This is a pretty unique gacha, the auto battling system and character building is pretty deep and satisfying and you'll have to use your brain at times. There are enough characters and systems to stop an absolute meta but it is still there. I would call it generous for f2p players with the caveat that the highest tier of characters are kind of separated in to another pool.

Great fun when it works, which I hope will be some time soon.

This and all other expansions are included when you buy the latest expansion release. All expansions up to Sentinel's Fate are available for f2p players without purchase. As far as I know, as of feb 2021 there is no longer any way to buy expansions through Steam.
