A chill and long factory building game on a massive hand-crafted world, resource nodes are inifinite and only you can destroy/desconstruct your buildings; so you can take your time in building big and beautiful factories around them, as there are plenty of customization options to make some striking architechture.

Making sure you build with verticality in mind and also in spaces that are bigger than you expect to use is important.

There's a blueprinter building that allows you to create blueprints but only within the constraints of the building. Which can force you to think modularly and vertically which is nice, however i feel you get this tool later than you'd want to, and upgrades to it you also unlock later than what you'd want, and by that time it doesnt give you enough space to even create a neat modular blueprint with newer bigger buildings, and also by the time you unlock its final upgrade you might not even need it anymore

An iron solid classic-contra-styled run-and-gun with some very nice visuals and soundtrack.
Levels are long and there are 9 of them in total, weapon capsules actually give you random weapons everytime but all of them are useful.

There are 3 difficulties:
- Easy: you start with 30 lives, there are less enemies, they have slightly less HP, and are less aggressive (they shoot slower as well).
- Normal: you get 16 lives
- Hard: you get 8 lives, enemies take slightly more shots, and they shoot faster

For any difficulty, lives get reset between every stage, unless you have more than the stock ammount, and you have to replay the whole stage if you run out of lives, your score also gets reset.

The more points you get per stage the more you gain progress in unlocking skins, and you can choose between any skin's head, torso, arms and legs to customize your player.

I kinda wish there was at least an achievement for completing the game on hard though, and maybe one for getting through the game on hard without getting a game over to give even more replayability beyond obtaining skins

6 missions of more Project Wingman that are absolutely worth the price and a MUST play for people that even remotely liked the main game, with the music you've come to expect from Jose Pavli, but even better.

2 missions in particular stood out SO much i'll be at least replaying them from time to time like i did for a good while with the final mission of the main campaign.

A very calm and simple fishing game with a lovely atmosphere and social features that make it have a bit of an older chat-room feel.

All servers are Peer-to-Peer, has a guitar item with surprising depth that lets you play anything you want, sections on the ground where people can draw freely, another type of chat that is location-based within the map, gambling, and other secrets...

It also has a progression system that feels nice to go through with the rods and bait you can unlock. And going beyond, filling up your fish journal with all the different types of fish and qualities of fish is something that can take around 200+ hours!

Nice ports of all classic contras and their regional versions that allows you to save replays, also with bonus material like an interview with the director and designer of contra 3 and onwards, and design documents and sketches.
Though having a single save-state, not being able to rebind keyboard controls, and having an ear-piercing bug when you launch the game sometimes sucks.

A true game for engineers at heart (same goes for all zachtronics games), and an odyssey that took me several years of slow progress and many long sleepless nights starting from my high-school years up to university, just tuning away at my horrible un-optimized solutions to see how it'd be possible to beat the level. Because of this i also journeyed through it without any kind of hint.

This puzzle game is all about open-ended puzzles, where you have to craft your own solutions; you get some input molecules, one or more molecules you have to output, and with the help of 2 "waldos" (circles that go around a circuit, triggering commands when they go over them), you have to craft circuits with commands for them so they can achieve the required outputs, you also have to ensure that your reactors can work for a very long time without breaking along the way.

There can be many, many solutions, but getting to any of them in the first place is genuinely hard past the first planet.

This game also keeps histograms of how efficient the solutions of all players were, so there's a bit of an incentive to improve upon your previous solutions.

Suffice to say this was the hardest but especially most satisfying puzzle game i've ever played and completed so far.

Barely recommended. It's the weakest of all main Serious Sam games without a doubt (below Next encounter and 2), some maps are insanely huge but there are baarely any encounters, and the ones there are, are usually lackluster and even boring. (and i played on Serious difficulty throught all of it and all secondary objectives)

There are only a few good/brilliant fights, the standout being the one in a Quarry... However, having slogged through the rest of the game to get there, and afterwards having mediocre to some good fights sprinkled throught... doesn't fully redeem it in my eyes. I am sure most of the space could've been used better (as exemplified with the quarry fight)

This is before even going into it's other problems like:
1) Having bad performance while looking just a tiny bit better than Sam 3, i had to tweak the game quite a bit to feel stable.
2) A badly paced and not so good or entertaining story (with, again, only really one/very few standout moments)
3) The latter chapters fight's with the exception of the final chapter feeling emptier/more rushed than usual
4) Some gadgets felt completely useless despite the efforts required to get some of them.
5) Some upgrades feel mandatory like the reload speed or reloading while sprinting when they could've been there by default and tuning a few fights with them in mind, and other upgrades being extremely niche/useless.

With all they got, they could've crafted many more kickass fights and a better story, but i guess being in development hell for so long made things very messy. Here's hoping the next main game comes brilliantly after all lessons learned from dev hell, and some of the experience with the Talos Principle 2.

The game i stumbled upon as a kid on a lazy day on my father's MAME library, that got me much more attached to Videogames in general.

An old-school horizontal shmup with one of the strongest ambiances i've ever felt that left a mark on a younger me. It may not be as polished encounter-wise; but the shot-type of your ship, algonside the laser-duel mechanic it introduces, and with it's incredible atmosphere, make it veery much worth experiencing.

A very fun third person PvE 4-person co-op shooter where completing the mission is the only thing that matters for a victory, and your survival sure isn't a part of that.

When going into a mission you can select one perk and up to 4 "stratagems" to use, which range from:
* Devastating long-range orbital strikes, or closer and more tactical air-strikes,
* Deployable turrets of many kinds
* Call-ins for more powerful weapons (even a mech).

Any one of the 9 select-able difficulties always assumes you're going in with a full squad and it doesn't adjust when going solo; the missions are very much possible regardless so it's an extra challenge you can take.

Enemies will always do the same damage and have the same health regardless of difficulty; what changes the most between difficulties is the ammount and variety of enemies present, the ammount of extra objectives present on a mission (which can range from stratagem-blocking jammers, to a helpful artillery cannon you can load in with explosives which you can then use as an extra stratagem), and extra modifiers too.

The fights and maps themselves feel very big, and missions can range from around 15 to a bit over 45 minutes. The attention to detail given to your armaments is surprising, which comes with gameplay benefits too, as for example there are multiple stages when reloading your weapons, and if you interrupt a reload, it will resume from the last stage you were at.

With:
* Live-updates to the game with new community events and missions, making the different factions move through new planets (which each one has different characteristics and generations)
* Events can change how the war is fought, by unlocking new stratagems (sometimes giving the community a choice as to which one to unlock), or giving the enemy new types of units in secret, or making the enemy have a stronger hold of certain parts of the galaxy.
* A free and not time-locked ""battle-pass"" that allows you to get a good variety of weapons, armor sets, perks, and premium currency (which you can gain for free in the game btw), allowing you to get more than just a few premium-currency armor and helmets...
I feel this is a game that is taking the "live-service" model in an actually good direction.

A Free twin-stick shoot-'em-up where you can change your loadout at any time and upgrade your equipment with crystals you collect when destroying enemies (you can reset all crystals spent once per stage). It has some little surprises gameplay-wise that keeps the slower pacing of the game interesting enough before the bosses.

It also has a challenge-mode that offers some fun challenges and a "survivor" mode that feels a bit more like a traditional arcade game with a bit of randomness in the form of debuffs you can choose from that only last for the "wave" you are at.

The pacing of the game can be quite slow in many parts of the stages, which is made worse if you have to replay through them many times on the higher difficulties (Normal difficulty can be way too easy).
Playing with some combinations of upgrades and weapons can make the game exponentially harder especially when playing on classic mode, enemy visibility (especially some enemies that follow you) can be atrocious, the story has some interesting elements that sadly are barely used or explored enough in my opinion. And the art style is all over the place.

Despite all of this, i would still say it's worth a shot considering it's free and if you can overlook most of the cons.
