Fantastic game, having a lot of fun with it. There is definitely stuff to be improved upon but considering the scope of the game that is to be expected. I feel like most people that complain about nothing to do have just no clue what they are doing... I mean sure you can choose a country and then just let the time go by doing nothing and then complain that it is the games fault that you don't engage with any of the systems... A bunch of bad reviews seem to have expected their dream game they envisioned and where then salty that they didn't get what was never promised.

I hope for a few areas to get more fleshed out but currently I absolutely got a lot of fun for my money and at currently 450h in at the time of this review don't feel like even close to being done with the game.

I see Hazelight Studios Game, I buy and even tho my expectations are high they are always exceeded. Best co-op experiences ever. Can really recommend.

Very awesome tactical card based autobattler. There is a ton of depth to explore here and a bunch of different multiplayer and singleplayer game modes that i did not expect to be there or be this good.

Only real downside of the game are the reoccuring server issues which are annoying but never a gamebreaker for me.

To the aspect of Pay to win and a shop in a free game. I don't see any pay to win in it. You get a ton of ressources to unlock characters and sidejobs faster than you can learn them. Yea you gotta level your char to level 5 to get all the benefits but that is like 4-5 games played and in no way a big handicap at all.

There does not seem to be a real meta in the higher ranked games yet tbh. Just a bunch of decently strong builds with a good rock-paper-scissor system. Game is free, if your interested in any way give it a go. The tutorial is pretty good and the ingame quality of life features are insanely good for a f2p game.

The current pinnacle of strategic autobattler. Very game, nice good. Also if you are the person just watching your units fight in an RTS and not managing economy or anything, buy this game. Snipers shooting Steelballs is really satisfying.

It's open world dark souls. They basically put every good idea they had in previous games into on open world with stuff to discover on every corner. Exploring in this feels genuinely incredible and the game let's you play on your own pace without really pushing you anywhere or forcing you to hurry up. Wanna play hardcore dark souls boss rush? Sure. Wanna explore and discover? Sure. Wanna get absolutely op and cheese every boss? Sure.
This game was more of everything I hoped for absolutely 10/10.

Basic concept but very well done. If you like upgrades and also shooting stuff while dodging hordes of monsters, congrats this is your game! You know you want it, how else would you have read this comment!
