I played the first one and enjoyed it so much that I was thrilled to find out there was a second one and that it is just as whimsical and hilarious as the first. The best part is that it is completely unique from the first one in terms of game play. I highly recommend both of Turnip Boy games. I just finished my first play through and I'd say it is good value for the price. I also forgot to mention that the soundtrack is amazing. I still have some of the songs stuck in my head.

I'd agree with the other reviews on this one. It's very similar to Limbo and Inside. The puzzles weren't anything revolutionary, but some could be a bit difficult. There is a lot of trial and error needed so be prepared to die. Also, of the achievements can't be done without dying so be prepared to die quite a bit. Other achievements are almost impossible unless you quite literally constantly switch between modes. However, it does have some interesting game play elements, the art is enjoyable, and the story is really beautiful, but heartbreaking. I cried at the end.

Do I recommend it? Yes, especially if you enjoy games like Limbo and Inside. I got this while it was on sale so if you're not sold on it then you can wait until it goes on sale to pick it up.

I absolutely love this game. I finished my first play-through last night and immediately went into my second without hesitation. I ended up staying up quite late despite having to work this morning because I needed to get through the second game play for obvious reasons. It's funny, whimsical, and definitely has great replay value. I'm on my third game despite only owning this game for a few days. That first game though is what gets you hooked once you finish it. I highly recommend.

So far this game has shown that it has a lot of potential as there are very few bugs and a lot of interesting concepts that make it a great experience. I know there have been people saying there is not a lot to do, but this is the time to test the waters (no pun intended) of the game to get a feel of what works, what doesn't, and how to expand on the game. So far it kind of reminds me of 7 Days to Die except with sharks instead of zombies.

Pros:

- Not only do you get to travel from island to island, but you can explore the ocean to find neat treasures (I found a bucket!) or just experience the beautiful scenery as long as you avoid the sharks.
- The HUD only displays on the screen by pressing a key rather than constantly being in your face which adds to the immersion. The added feature of knowing the weather via your HUD is a nice bonus.
- You have the ability to build many different things to help increase you chances of survival such as a shelter, bed, a raft, spears, and axes.
- At one point I fell from a tree, broke my arm, and when I went to look at my watch I could see my broken arm. That was pretty awesome.
- If you do tempt fate and decide to paddle to another island you need to watch out for the sharks. They appear to actively seek you out and flip your life raft.

Cons:
- My raft keeps disappearing, then several sharks come and eat me alive in the middle of the ocean.
- I can't put my bed in my shelter.
- It is not helping me with my fear of open water.

In my opinion it is the first game I have bought on here within the first few days of launching and I am already writing a review so needless to say I am very impressed. I highly encourage anyone to try it out as I am positive this game will only get better. Now if only I could find Wilson...
