While I enjoyed most of my time with Spookware so far and can heartily recommend it as a game, I feel there is definitely room for improvement:

For some reason I really had high expectations for the humor in Spookware from the preceding, more straightforward Warioware homages. The wacky mix of spooky, macabre and humor in the minigames themselves, and quips in the victory or loss text.
I really wish some of the npc dialogue, especially in the school chapter especially, gets a second pass - it can be rather dry and set a rather low first impression of exploring the beautiful spaces and their characters set in between the minigame gauntlets most people who bought this game came for.
And since all you do in the school is recruit band members and scram, the rest of the school really feels disconnected and uninteresting talking about random stuff like drinking milk and classes.

I also deeply want there to be less simple 'TOO SLOW' failure or "you did it" text.. Throw some shade, reference a movie, or laugh about the context of the minigame when the player wins or loses! It's always a good reward or compensation to read "You look good in amber", "The patient is dead", "Why is there a key here".

Smoothing out UX would also go a long way in making the exploration feel better - a preview label of the location in place of the [?] is enough.. don't ask players to confirm each door they walk through!

Lastly, the minigames. Most are fun! I did struggle more than most, having never really played Warioware stuff or rhythm games.
I think Ch3 does the best job of incorporating learning minigames and exploration, and I enjoy repurposing a previous minigame for sewer valves.

But I do wonder why the school chapter gauntlet has two minigames repeating the same Simon-says idea, and was very frustrated by two later minigames that had a hard time working properly for me.
These are the puddle mopping minigame in Ch2, and the finger grating in Ch3. Both of them just had a hard time registering input from my hardware and I would fail a lot despite eventually getting it right with just luck and brute force repeating exactly what I had been doing. Here's when failing a minigame kicked you out of it and asked if you wanted to retry got grating too - though I am less sure how to improve that.

I really like the music, the presentation, and new cute and lighthearted polish the game has to clash with the spooky and strange style of its minigames. I just have quite a few gripes with what there is so far, given the hard work and efforts to make it a full-fledged game from its already charming spooky Warioware- inspired roots.

The worst part is it still feels like a paid demo than a game with so much of it yet to release...
But still, give Spookware a chance and see if it hits your funny bone just right. It might be worth the wait for you too.

Stardew was a really chill experience that gave me many days of fun and relaxation building a life and home in the game. It has many facets that its players may tap into, such as its gameplay mechanics of mining, fishing and social interaction, or its world that has subtle hints of a deeper background and story.

However, I feel that it fell short there - it had potential to be expanded further upon, especially late-game, but never taps into it.
Your skills culminate at level 10 and by then don't do much for you and you won't be actively challenged on them. If you have a kid, it never grows up. Your spouse becomes a robot that kind of restricts you. The village is about the same as day 1. Your farm will inevitably become a factory of money that doesn't do anything for you. Its villagers, half the drive of the game probably, after years together to become besties just send you little (usually by then useless) things and have very limited dialogue and social events.
The lack of plot, while chill and very relaxing at first, also contributes to this, leading to a flat and repetitive gameplay after doing similar things with little additions for in-game years.
Tacking multiplayer onto all that doesn't change any of that, but adds some more challenge and synergy and shenanigans to the game.

Not to mention, its modding capabilities seem limited i.e adding new animations or characters or items without replacing existing ones easily, leading to the fanbase having difficulties in adding to these lacking parts of the games.

Overall, Stardew has a strong start, but falls a little flat towards the end. I recommend simply playing it from time to time sparsely to relax(probably as it was intended..)rather than get sucked into burst hours like I did and immediately get burnt out - it has enjoyability, but not that much replayability. I also suggest experimenting with the variety of visual and gameplay mods available from the talented community to spruce up your game and drag out your experience as long as possible.

One last note is that I found a lot more fun not knowing anything and playing to do whatever I felt like rather than searching up the wiki for every detail of the game - there are very little repercussions for anything you do and never much to lose.
The prospect of how many things you can do in this game to pass each day and the journey of finding out things for yourself masks the little depth there really is in the game. (Just remember: please don't gift away or donate your first Prismatic Shard to the museum...)

Stardew Valley is about, after all, moving away from a busy and dull life and into a new world in the wilderness.

Update: Recent updates have added quite a few new things to do and new material postgame, especially in the relationship department. Not enough to address the issues, but it's something!

All in all, the game experience is awesome! There are technical issues such as official servers always resetting, your own private servers possibly getting corrupted out of nowhere, or long loading times due to hardware, but that's about it.
