Garry's mod is a game. And I cannot give this game just a straight up 1-10 rating. It wouldn't do this game justice. Garry's mod is a game unlike any other, there is a lot of, customization to say the least. Garry's mod isn't a game. I'd say it's more of a sandbox base/hub where people can express there creativity, creating gamemodes, maps, models, etc. It's more of an experience. Garry's mod isn't a game you can rate, it's a whole bunch of games that each give a different experience from role play, combat based gamemodes. But garry's mod comes with some problems. For one the ageing source engine can bring some problems, while it is a very efficient engine, it's gotten old and basically any game mode other than sandbox is really pushing the limits of the engine. For one Gmod tower is being ported to the unreal engine because theres not much the developers can do with source anymore. I do see this game getting a port to the source engine which won't go smoothly most likely. But I have to say, for the money this game is absolutely amazing. It runs on the oldest hardware and delivers an experience like no other. This is a game you can't get board of. Even if you don't have money, wait till it goes on sale. Everyone on steam should have this game. Everyone.
