I have been anxiously awaiting this DLC for MONTHS, even since the release of ATS. Living in Arkansas, a lot of the major locations were immediately noticeable. That being said, I can't in good faith give this a good review.

Many of the locations feel very uncanny valley. Little Rock is a very broad area for the quick jobs, covering many of the larger towns that could have easily been turned into minor towns (similar to the other DLC before it). Instead, SCS decided to condense this state as small as they feasibly could without ruining the time dilation aspect. And as much as I appreciate their commitment to keeping things consistent, it feels like Arkansas is missing so much content. Little Rock doesn't feel like Little Rock. North Little Rock is missing entirely -- despite being an integral part of Little Rock's economy and history. Along US 67/367, the cities of Cabot and Searcy are completely missing -- Searcy, being one of the only towns with two Walmart Distribution Centers in Arkansas, and Cabot being the next largest city in the area. Not to mention that many of the tree models for Jonesboro are just...wrong. And that Jonesboro doesn't look anything like it should.

The jump between Conway and Little Rock is too sudden. It doesn't properly capture the pure size of Arkansas -- even remotely. It feels like a cheap cop-out to release a DLC as fast as possible, as an excuse to spend time in Hot Springs on vacation, rather than an actually flushed out DLC.

Buy this DLC on sale this Christmas, and don't bother using Arkansas as a starting state. It's so small you can OTR as soon as you're done with the first job. 4/10. At least I was able to halfway recognize Little Rock, Conway, and Bald Knob. Despite living in the area for three years, I could not tell Jonesboro was...well, Jonesboro.

Start out on experimentation. I've seen videos so I know what to expect. I'm cautious. I walk in to my first few places and nothing goes wrong. I play a game with friends. Immediately everything goes wrong. I get split off from everyone and start doing my own exploration. It's night. I make my way back to the ship. I come in being super loud with two dead bodies right there on the floor. I start the ship. Apparently there were three dogs outside the ship.

10/10, deserves GOTY. Very good game, runs fairly smooth despite the system requirements, and a wonderfully funny, scary, and overwhelmingly good time.

After having played this game in offline singleplayer for years, and then moving to CK3, I can definitively say this is the better of the two games. While this one won't be updated, which sucks for small annoying bugs, and the modding community, I feel this game is far better and more balanced in that certain strategies only work for so long, whereas in CK3, realms are so fragile that your character sneezing the wrong way will ruin hours of work.

Overall, CK2 is the better of the games, and it's worth getting the game with the DLC when it's on sale. Much fun, would always recommend.

This game is fun, if you have friends and about 20 hours to learn every keybind and various ways of doing things. The game itself is hyper complex, but with mods it can be turned into rocket surgery.

These devs care about their game, totally would reccommend 10/10
