Textures and icons commonly fail to load, some in-game menus and sliders randomly laggy, AI utterly useless. Can't queue military production or build more than one thing at a time, no clear indication of build time, and new units seem to deploy only to your capital.

Played as UK. Declared war on, invaded, and annexed Ireland within 30 minutes. No consequences whatsoever.

Seems to be missing pretty much everything people enjoyed in Superpower 2. But hey, at least now you get to create an apparently pointless avatar.

Hot garbage. Avoid.

Not played it for very long so far, obviously. Just wanted to address some of the negative reviews.

For reference I'm running an i7-4770k, 16GB RAM and a 980Ti - Probably just about meets the recommended specifications for the game.

#1 FPS
I've ran it at both 1080 ULTRA (with FXAA High) and 4K HIGH (default options, no changes) without any major issues to speak of. Often dips below 30 fps at 4K, but that's hardly unexpected. With 1080 ULTRA (FXAA High) i'm yet to see under 60FPS out and about, which given I can't turn off VSync and i've got a 60Hz monitor, is fine by me.

#2 Antialiasing
I'm not sure what the issue is with a couple of the reviews here. The antialiasing does work so far as I can tell, there is a noticeable difference between the modes. FXAA High is probably all you need unless you're looking to make everything super smooth, MSAA 2X isn't a massive performance hog either. SSAA 4X is as high as it will let me set it and it certainly took care of those jaggies, though with this setting you should expect your FPS to dip a fair bit, given the amount of processing that's going to be necessary around busy stations and such.

#3 HOTAS
Seen a couple of reviews stating that HOTAS doesn't work with this game. I dug my X55 Rhino out of the cupboard to play this. I can confirm that both the stick and throttle unit are recognised by the game and work perfectly. I just loaded the control preset for the Saitek X52 and tweaked to my liking. If you're having trouble, please make sure you have the latest drivers/software for your setup and have been baselined/centered.
