Capcom still can't optimize games to save their life, much less make a PC port that doesn't have a million issues. Monsters all die in less than ten minutes if you're keeping up with gear, not to mention there are fewer than ever before, making us reliant on the quarterly title updates. Environments are blander than ever, and with the seikret autopilot, there's no need to learn the map, much less track the monster. The story is uninteresting, and this is coming from someone who loves to see the ecosystems of fictional worlds and the study thereof. Nata isn't even the biggest problem of the story, it was just handled in the most hamfisted, shoehorned way possible.

I desperately wanted this game to improve on World and Rise's shortcomings, but instead, it just piled on even more, and with the trend nowadays of developers ignoring ALL community feedback and just doing what they want, it won't get better in the next game.

Got about 40 hours of exccellent gameplay out of an incomplete game. God bless the antique shotgun, hunt down all Rats, and ♥♥♥♥ LEYAK

Absolutely phenomenal "Monster Hunter Clone" (It isn't) with horrific, pervasive, and malicious performance issues. The game will corrupt your save, experience symptoms consistent with an aggressive memory leak, and god forbid you stream this game to your friends over discord, it will nuke itself. (4090 and 13900k here, not lacking for resources)

The game looks great, plays slick, slightly overdone designs for the player, weapons and monsters, but they grew on me very quickly. Make sure to turn the voices to moonspeak unless you want to hear the English (koei tecmo) voice actors say the occasional word of Japanese like an Anime Club first-timer.

Got this as a Christmas gift, and streaming it to my friends reduced me to tears thanks to the replaceable backgrounds and absurdity of the game itself

One of the finest hack and slashes ever made, this time with musical timing, With a bunch of synergies and combos, you'll always have a way to smash more robots, and and the entire world/game being timed to the beat is a game design miracle.

Immensely flawed but still very entertaining game. Phenomenal music, story, themes, middling gunplay, driving, mediocre pacing, progression, sidequests.
