TL;DR: Great retro-styled vehicular combat, awesome soundtrack.

Fumes is one of those games that you start to play and wonder why it feels both so much as something you played when you were kid as well as something completely different. What is Fumes first of all?

Vehicular combat on a sandbox style map; you get to drive around and pick which events you want to do and in what order. Each boss has a requirement that you need to do in order for them to be found, and this resets per boss. So you might need to do 2 races, 2 combats, 1 cargo-truck heist. BUT each boss has a requirement of x events done meaning you can skip those you don't like.

While roaming around you might come across roving bandits, cargo haulers, driving oil platforms (oh yeah, you can fight those - be prepared for a bit of a fight though)

Now, your persona in this world is the vehicle you drive. As you play and fight bosses new car-bodies unlock. Each one has their own strengths and weaknesses. And each body can be upgraded from a low level C class all the way to S - at which point it will be the best of that type (of course) This also applies to:

- Suspension (of which there are multiple types)
- Weapons
- Cargo plates

Recently the addition of wheels allows you to customize the look of your car even more. And yes, you can have multiple cars unlocked and configured as per your preferences. Those will be in your garage which comes in the form of a huge truck with an engine block you drive into in order to go to your garage.

There is a lot more I could say about this game, and I'll keep it short; It's a fun game, with a great fitting soundtrack, and filled with fun (one of the death shouts is literally "wishlist me!")

PS: the progress of the DEMO (if available still) carries over into the main game. So if you can, try the demo. It is free and no progress lost if you do buy it :)

Sit back and relax while playing a really relaxing and cozy little aquarium/fishing/decorating collectathon.

If you are looking for something that is easy to get into -but- still offers quite a bit of collecting and decorating (of your aquarium), this might be the game for you.

There is a social aspect, that is, you can browse other people's aquariums - but you can only react to them (4 different reactions consisting of a heart, smiley face covered in hearts, a "100", sunglasses wearing smiley)

The fishing might seem a little daunting, but it isn't really. You aim with your cursor, click to throw it at that location. And then you wait for the little ping that says you got a catch. At that point, you click and hold to make sure the fish stays in the bar. It's really forgiving so if you miss a part, it's not an instant loss.

Pro-tip: if you want some free decoration for you aquariums, go fishing and do NOT use any bait. You'll catch plants, rocks, boots (some of these you can sell for some coin, and some will be decorations -for free!)

Note about Steamdeck compatibility (at time of writing 11th January 2026)

The game runs great on Steamdeck BUT the legibility is a bit hard/difficult at times. It's not insurmountable but something to be aware of

TL:DR:

Cozy fishing/aquarium game. 10/10 would fish and decorate again

Gorgeous stylized game, featuring no combat, environmental puzzles, and some amazingly good writing and story. Highly recommend, would buy again.

How do you review, or provide feedback on a game like Caravan Sandwitch? Do you talk about the absolutely gorgeous stylized presentation, the audio and music that is just sublime, or the story that has some pretty good depth at times?

Or do you tell about how it affected you? Parts of the story will resonate with you. Stories of loss, distancing friendships and family, misunderstandings, lack of communication and ultimately healing?

Or bring out the amazingly low-stress gameplay, that has you driving, running and jumping around in a world with no combat (at least that I've seen so far) and some really fun environmental puzzles?

I've "only" played 8 hours so far at the time of writing this. And I can honestly say, without a shadow of any doubt that this game is worth every penny. From the driving around the map that is surprisingly fun (TIP: Press spacebar to honk. It doesn't do or affect anything, but who doesn't love honking aimlessly?) To the little points of interest where you can take a seat and just take in the view and the world. As someone having dealt with personal loss recently, it's precisely those moments that really cemented this game for me.

If you're looking for a game that is fun, cozy, yet doesn't shy away from some of the deeper nuances of what connection means (and if you do, just click through the story - but you'll be missing out) get this game.

If you're looking for a nice relaxing puzzling game with a zen atmosphere - this is it. The mechanics are deceitfully simple to understand and still incredibly complex, and satisfying, to master.

The concept is as such: match 3 (or more) similar blocks together and they combine into a bigger block. And repeat. The card-system is a really nice little addition that can help turn a mess into a cleared up board (allowing you to continue playing)

The animations are smooth, friendly, and not too much of a bombastic spectacle that would be distracting - and yet it scratches that dopamine itch whenever you manage to pull of a well thought-out maneuver clearing the board (or well, even if it was an unplanned one :) )

To top it all of, it also supports VR.

TL;DR:
- Nice relaxing puzzling game. Highly recommend. Must get. Much wow.

If you like factory building, automating your production, and lots and lots of math (not required, but can really make things run smoother) this is the game for you.

The developers listen to the community; and tend to add a lot of good features that people request/want/need, such arachnophobia mode (changes all the spiders to pictures of cats), or changing the sounds of eating with other sounds, changing the individual volume of items/tools (!!) and more.

Just one tip though; set an alarm for yourself to take a break. You'll wind up playing for several hours on end without realizing :D

Do you like Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor? Do you like Warhammer? Do you like punching rats in their face (or knees, depending on your and their height) In that case you'll like this game.

I'll be the first to admit that FatShark has their share of challenges, but the basis of the game - especially when played with friends, is a lot of fun.

If you are looking for a cooperative game, that involves mining, shooting aliens, shiny crystals and minerals, consuming beverages, unspeakably gorgeous beards, and big guns. Look no further.

This game is deceptively easy at first glance until you start looking deeper into the mechanics of the mods, perks, and the synergy of the classes. It's never too daunting and the community can be quite helpful. It's fun, it's good, what else do you want to hear?

Do you like racing, a great soundtrack, gameplay that's as smooth as freshly shaved baby's buttock, blazing speeds that'll be literally turning your screen red as the blood drains your brain?

Do you, like many, wish that WipeOut/F-Zero was available for the PC? Look no further. This is arguably better and it's here!

This game runs smooth with great high FPS, looks good but not too detailed to be distracting (not that you see much of it when you fly past it anyway)

Why are you even reading a review for Borderlands 2 instead of playing it already?

The game is absolutely fun, building on the original Borderlands 2 humor, gameplay, and the universe of the game. All of your favorite characters make a return and you'll be in for a surprise or 2.

Whether playing solo, or with your friends - it's fun! Plus with the DLC's you'll have tons and tons of more fun!

Admittedly, it's the shortest game you (might) play ever. But somehow the developers manage to make it worthwhile. It's fun, entertaining, without going into too much gimmicks. It's just you and the level.

The goal of the game is to jump on every platform and collect all the cubes - which can be done (perhaps easily?) Don't let that fool you though - with this game, less is absolutely more.

And well, since it's on sale when I bought it... Can't go wrong there! If you are looking for a short, simple, but fun game... look no further :-)
