I personally really liked it 😔

Such a let down of a game. I wanted so badly to love it. I'm absolutely obsessed with detective games. And for the first couple of hours I was. I thought it may be the greatest detective game ever. I was building out huge case boards from found evidence. Broke into an apartment to investigate a murder, decided to lock the door behind me (just in case). While I was investigating and grabbing evidence some people start trying to break in. I end up hiding in the vents and escaping from a different floor.

I was immediately hooked.

Then, I went to go interview some of the suspects, that's where it all fell apart and it became clear that all this game was was just a bare bones city criminal simulator. Since it seems like most the time you gotta break into places to investigate. You can't interrogate a single person. All you can do is accuse them, arrest them, or ask them if they know where someone is. Figured you should have been able to ask questions about literally anything you found? Nope. Can't do that. All you can do is gather all the evidence, spend a lot of time on a huge case board only to have literally none of it matter, because the only thing you can do is link fingerprints at the crime scene to people you found. WHY GIVE US A HUGE ADDRESS BOOK OF PEOPLE SOMEONE KNOWS AND THEN HAVE THOSE PEOPLE NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD TO YOU. If you ask someone about a person they should know all they tell you is "I saw them over here"

Actually it's just a heckin' fingerprint finder simulator. Was such a let down. Unless they add the ability to actually talk to people or do more than just arresting people, I don't think I'll ever pick this game up again. Waste of time honestly.

I mean, it's not bad, but 3.whatever it's on now, seems to not actually remember whatever profiles you make for the rear buttons on the dualsense, so I either have to setup a new profile every time or I just switch to 2.x. Wish they could have it actually remember the profiles you create for the buttons

CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME ENOUGH WITH FRIENDS. Absolutely underrated game to play with friends. Probably the most fun and hardest I've laughed with 2-3 of my friends. Is also just as hilarious and maddening playing with just 2 people. Even with just 10 levels, we haven't gotten tired of the game at all. My best friend absolutely hates platforming and this is one of his favorite games now.

Once the level editor comes out, this game will likely have endless replay-ability. We cannot get enough of it.

To the dev: how small of an add would it be to add a setting for the solo tee off to end the game/start 60 second timer the second someone finishes the final hole? It turns it into more of a race. We made our own rule where we just end the game the second someone finishes, but it'd be cool if that was just a setting.

So, it's kind of a maybe. If you're looking for something difficult or even mildly difficult this is absolutely not it. It's honestly way too easy. Every single puzzle felt kind of brain dead levels of difficult. Most puzzles that require any amount of thought can honestly just be solved by making enough clicks that somehow it just ends up in the solution state. It's similar in style to the Rooms, but the puzzles are too easy and the solution is kind of right in front of your face for it to actually scratch that Rooms itch.

It's not like bad. I was just expecting something a little more difficult and when I finished chapter 3 I was kind of just like "Well, I'm just gonna finish it to finish it at this point"

What in the ♥♥♥♥ did I just play?

I hate Denuvo as much as the next guy, but I haven't had any micro stuttering on basically Ultra with some lower. Specs: 2080 and an i7-9700k. Didn't even really have to tinker with it.

So, aside from the being angry about Denuvo, it's a really great game. If you loved Prey and the Dishonored games you'll love this. I have ADHD so when I find books or pages in games, I always skip reading them, but with this game the world is built up through a lot of the stuff you read and Arkane makes it really interesting to piece together background story reading things.

I haven't felt this way about a game since Prey and actually I think the last single player $59 game I beat was Prey, and I plan on playing this till the end

ALSO: disable markers to make the game less linear, like you actually have to search for the people and objectives

what the ♥♥♥♥?

Simultaneously the worst and the best game ever.

On my first time in the game with my friend, we only had one flashlight, and had no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what we were doing. We were way over time and my friend decided he needed to go check the ghost writing book. He wished me good luck, said he didn't need the flashlight and told me to stay on comms.

I immediately saw a spike in activity, tried to radio to him "Get the ♥♥♥♥ out of there!" but only got radio static. Eventually the radio static went away, but I couldn't hear him on the other end. So, I had to go check for myself. Upon opening the front door I saw his body slumped over on the ground.

I decided that was my cue and booked it the ♥♥♥♥ out of there. Closed the door to the truck and said goodbye to my friend whom was not to happy with me when we returned back to base.

Oh and when I finally decided to bite the bullet and die like he suggested me to, I screamed like an 11 year old who was finally allowed to ride her bike by herself and fell down scraping her knee only a block from her house.

10/10 would throw my headset off again

Really cheap game for the amount of hours you can get out of it, especially when you start getting good. But, even without trying to hard I was able to get 100 hours out of the game and for the price, that's hard to beat.
