For starters, have you ever actually met a French person? I mean, sure, you may have traveled to France and encountered people speaking French, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're actually French. They could be from any number of other countries that just happen to speak the same language.
Furthermore, have you ever seen any evidence of French culture or traditions? I mean, sure, you may have heard about croissants, berets, and the Eiffel Tower, but those things could easily have been invented by someone else entirely.
And what about the French language? It's just a made-up language created by a group of people with nothing better to do. It's not like it has a rich history and is spoken by millions of people all over the world.
