I had one dollar left on an old gift card that I had to get rid of, so I search for the best $1 games. This was a good choice.

I'm happy to see this apparently working for some other people, but I want my money back, sorry.

10/10 you can fight for the Fatherland in a realistic setting. ♥♥

Perfect for /k/ommandos and /pol/acks.

Update: it's also great for language learning; extensive immersion in this game made me learn a little German...and Canadian. You just have to instinctively know what's being said, and eventually, you will, because your brain is forced to adapt without the aid of subtitles. I don't even know if there is a subtitle setting.

*facepalm* I spent 10 bucks on this...like, 10 whole dollars...of real money....

As a weapons enthusiast, I approve this.

It's so beautiful...not only the graphics, but the music...it's just so beautiful and rather inspiring. Listening to it while observing the majestic awe of the Universe may inspire you to do something great with your life...who knows, maybe even become the first astronaut to go to Mars and come back in one piece. It's worth the shekels.

Realistic setting, accurate weapon mechanics.

It's a really steep learning curve, which is perfect for keeping the riff-raff out and thus maintaining a small, golden community mostly free of cancer.

Completed it several times over and it's awesome. There's something I actually like about the cheap graphics; It doesn't feel poopy, it feels... golden.... the pure nostalgia just feels so cozy, in a way. The story is really immersive to the point where you just wish it existed and you were there, kind of like an anime.

I know that there are some details and aspects that aren't realistic (many are), but the game does, y'know... FEEL real! You will feel a satisfying shiver shake down your spine when you huddle up to a fire after coming in from a blizzard. You will feel the warmth and the cold even though it's not really there.
The best part of this game is you just keep moving, and you can. Games get boring when you stay in one spot all the time. There's so much to explore that I don't even know if I'll survive long enough to see all of it.

10/10 will keep exploring.

Oh, and a word of advice: BEARS ARE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TANKS, NOT EVEN THE RIFLE WORKS ON THEM. DO NOT MESS WITH BEARS. THEY WILL F YOU UP.
I somehow miraculously survived that though, in critical 6% condition. Was back up in high spirits again in only a few hours, so now I feel pretty badass. "Meh, got mauled by a bear, I'm okay, it's just a scratch, I'm gonna go kill me some wolf meat now."

10/10 would feel badass again.

For once, a fun video game that is actually good for your brain.
