Dream Tactics is a vibe... a, well, dreamy vibe.

The art style is a mix between higher detail anime characters and lower pixel overworld sprites, neither style falling into the trap many modern dev teams are going for with forcing Unreal into every project. As a result, the art has a timeless, stylized appeal. In addition to visuals, the (early at least; will edit if disappointment creeps in) soundtrack is a retro inspired bop.

Combat feels familiar at first with a top-down, square tile system similar to classic Fire Emblem entries, but it quickly differentiates itself with a robust card and MP based system, quickly filling out to be more of a Slay the Spire deckbuilding experience but with several characters and decks to build out.

Looking forward to exploring this world and game system more - great job for a first product from this small team!

i love you game

This game exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for the experience of casual late game mmos without any of the leveling or tedius quests, this is the game for you. It is essecially just dungeons and pvp in the form of node control or moba lane pushing/base capturing. I am allergic to cats, but you probably don't care.
