i wished for more mutant vs soldier interactions but they aren't designed for it
last 20 minutes were pretty weak and you can tell dev was limited by what the ai could do
excited for his future

mission design is generally improved and better paced; less snoozers
ranger's backpack slot feels so good to use
wide variety of mission grinds so you don't fall asleep

big shoutout to the JP Earth Defense Force wiki, very helpful and well put together

epic games log-in situation is over-exaggerated; takes 10 seconds to get a dummy account and you aren't bothered again
the actual problem is the noticeable dysync probably caused by epic's shoddy servers
an annoyance on first playthrough and a serious issue for hardest/inferno where more teamplay is needed

if you use an autolooter you missed the entire point of the core pickup systems edf was made on!! please don't

shooting aztec demons in the face is fun???
life changing enemy/self amputation for profit


item encyclopedia would be extremely useful
more obvious "this gun is good/rare" notes
organization tech tree/progression is obscure
should be able to trade without landing on each station
some mercs/classes much better then others
an option to slow down tech progression to avoid death spiraling
