Looking for a classic tower defense? No frills, just towers, combos and placement? Look no further. This is the TD you've been looking for.

I think it's safe to say at this point I enjoy the game. More accessible than Dwarf Fortress, if missing some of the depth, but that's what mods are for. Very moddable.

A surprisingly addictive city builder.

DRG is a 1-4 dwarf, objective-based, first person shooter where progress can be completed in 15-40 minutes. Decent graphics, interesting weapons, and even after 90 hours it continues to scratch the exploration itch through procedurally generated levels. The level generation will troll you occasionally and it's both awful and great. Go buy it.

A worthy successor to Crusader Kings 2. Much easier to learn, better UI, fun to play, and still has a lot of cool events and medieval feel. I am looking forward to see how Paradox evolves this over the next few years.

A relaxing little city builder based on adjacency bonuses and placement order. A great way to wind down at the end of a long day.

X4: Foundations is a beautiful, single player, sandbox game with fun combat and lots of ship customization. Mine ore, trade goods, defend yourself from pirates, build a headquarters, manage fleets, build stations, defend the universe!

Starship Horizons is a fun, highly extensible bridge simulator that doesn't require lots of hardware, just a single host PC, single copy of the game, and web browsers for each station. It's been a lot of fun to play the default missions with friends, both in person and over the internet. I am excited about the built-in mission editor so I can start writing my own missions!

A solid single player tower defense. Go buy it.
