The performance has improved dramatically since launch and the game is now perfectly playable. For reference: I have a Ryzen 7 5800X paired with a RTX 3070 on 1440p and I can play on high-ultra with a smooth 60 FPS. Game looks beautiful, too.

The storyline is of course just perfect: I've played it before on PS3 when it came out and it's still as emotional and compelling 10 years later.

The game itself is absolutely great. Good mix between horror and fun, it's not extremely scary to the point where you're always on edge as a jumpscare might hit at any moment, while still making you piss your pants. It's fun enough where you can play a 100 games on the same map and still not get tired.

A major, major con for me is that the developer seems to be super selfish as he's doing everything in his power to make it so the game can't be modded. Anti-cheat on public servers? Sure. But mods in private lobbies made this game ten times more enjoyable as it allowed you to play with 8 friends instead of 4, and allowed you to use a trainer and make the ghost appear right infront of your friends to make them poop their pants - among other things. Just a big shame that such a big effort is being done to remove any and all modding support, and even block them. Oh well...

People who give this game a negative review because it's "glitchy" or they don't get "what's so fun", should seriously die tbh i mean i died trying to kill myself thats how hardcore this game is

While this game is full of Russians who barely know how to move their mouse, I think it's one of the better free to play games out there. First thought was, free to play? Must be full of hackers, it isn't. The game is a little bit unbalanced, but that's an easy fix, and can be excused as they're in early access.

Of course, since the game is indeed free-to-play, it will be plagued by hackers soon enough, there's plenty of them already and you'd be lucky to find a game with proper team mates.
The thing I certainly like the /most/ about this game, is the fact that the chat is hardly noticable, so it doesn't take up your entire screen if somebody types, and I usually don't even notice it. But back to the best part about this game, there's no voice chat. If you want a proper team, find some friends to play with and use Discord/Skype/... to communicate, but voice chat with randoms would be an absolute horror in a free-to-play, you'd need chemotherapy from all the cancerous Russians with dollar store microphones, and trollers.

I would certainly recommend this game (for now).

This game is quite awesome, but those people who complain about the graphics literally have an IQ of 5: the game was released in 2001, it's not going to have good graphics of course.

I really enjoy this game, I've always been interested in Space Combat and most games surrounding it didn't interest me untill I came across Fractured Space.

Although it does have it's flaws, I believe it's a good game with very good graphics and alot of fun.

1) Build a base with very little knowledge on how the game works;
1.5) Hope you had friends to play with;
2) Have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with an Assault Rifle come along, shoot out your wooden roof, come inside and kill you and take your ♥♥♥♥;
3) Start again;
4) Repeat.

10/10 would recommend again

Seriously though, base was nearly finished, only one part of the roof was made out of wood, forgot to upgrade.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with an AR comes along, shoots it, comes inside and kills me, very little does he know: The cupboard is behind a metal wall, and he doesn't have explosives, I spawned on my sleeping bag in a seperate room, came back 30 minutes later, he was still stuck inside, told me to let him out or he'd kill me.
I refused, he killed me, spawned in sleeping bag, waited 10 hours, and he killed himself.

Free stuff.

Its the best game ever!Only 10 bucks, its like FPS, Freeroam, RPG, RP, in one game, why pay 100 bucks to DayZ, CoD, BF, ... when this game for 10 bucks has it all?

Also with the addons, you can make it even more cool.

Its a real nice game, but to make it even more fun, make sure you got a friend who also got it :D.
