Wonderfully nostalgic, just the right amount of difficulty, thrilling story with just the right amount of twists, turns, side plots and characters. Beautifully crafted adventure, will play again to try and ace it!
Get this game!
Game devs, take notes!

I love the artstyle and idea - BUT - Honestly, it's not finished yet.

The worst offenders is the inventory system. You have one chest to store things, you can build multiple chests but they lead to the same inventory space. There is no sorting system. Stacks of materials rarely go above 20, and you need alot for most projects. Apparently right now the chest actually has a max capacity it doesn't tell you about, and the player is able to keep putting stuff in the chest leading to them disappearing. This has hard-locked players who put unique quest items in, not knowing the chest would eat them.

In the beginning materials are scarce, especially the stuff you need to upgrade tools. As soon as you have scraped it together and unlocked the tool, the material becomes abundant and only some are needed for decoration recipes. The shovel is only valuable in the beginning, but barely even then. The mounds you can dig up has a small amount of a rare material, and in the beginning you only have 4-6 backpack slots, meaning you might not afford it for two berries, two crackers, three sticks or whatever. This leads to you leaving them where you found them, and they dont despawn. A new mound appears where the old one was a bit later, rinse repeat, now there are stacks of random junk all over the map and that breaks immersion big time and ruins the surroundings.

Nothing you drop on the ground despawns and there is currently no way to destroy items. All your old tools and old furniture has to either be in a pile somewhere or clutter up your FINITE inventory space.

The game grind cycle is not fun. A big mistake some of these games make is what is happening with this game cycle. Example: You need granite to upgrade your pickaxe to granit, so that you can mine granite. This means you either has to hope regular stone drops granite, which it has a small chance to do, and it only drops one or two in my experience, or be lucky and find it on the ground. I have never found granite in mounds. As soon as you have the granite needed, you build the granite pickaxe and can now mine granite. You need granite for like, one or two more things and then it becomes superflous, and you just have it laying in stacks in your chest.

Decorating is currently not fun. You can only turn chairs two ways, making you unable to for example set up a dining set or make it so for example the armchair can face the fireplace. There is one carpet that is part of the floor texture and it is off centre, making it unsatisfying to work into the room design. The carpets you can craft don't let you put furniture on top of them, and they take up alot of space in a very small house. There is only one workbench and it is ugly/crude, you can craft a desk but it is not interactable, so you can never make a cute/matching crafting area. Because we have limited, non-sortable inventory space one is very discouraged to craft and try out different styles. Whatever furniture you want to replace/dont want anymore will create clutter, that is not very encouraging.

Growing food and herbs is broken. It is extremely easy right now to get ahold of food. After shovel, I find so much food I rarely have to cook. It is extremely easy to harvest alot of mushrooms and keep a stack that satiates your needs for a long time going forward. Growing them in your basement would mostly be for the lulz. Seeds are way to rare to make it worthwhile when I can get 30 mushrooms very easily just taking a little walk outside. Herbs growing in planters are reset every time you sleep outside, which mid-to late game you do alot. I haven't seen flowers growing in pots since I first made them, because I rarely spend 3 nights in a row sleeping in the home.

Brewing tea is useless. It gives way too little heat and the buffs are worthless. Rowan tea has good stats but you have healing paste recipe earlier and foods that heal are easy to make and also filling.
I feel like I'm playing skyrim running around mashing stacks of crackers into my face, crackers that also somehow give me 3x higher warmth stat than any tea.

The programming on NPC dialog is wonky and immersion breaking. As soon as you complete a quest you can talk to them again to get another quest, and they act as if they didn't just see you. Dialog needs to be rewritten or have an optional greeting for when you pick up the next quest after just turning in, which I don't see why players wouldn't do that.

Knitting is an underutilized feature. I would love for us to be able to knit way more stuff, and honestly i'd like the knitting process to take longer. That way you can feel immersed and cozy, and you would feel motivated to decorate your knitting space. Make the atmospheric sounds of the weather outside + fireplace good and make the knitting go on a timer that you can pause, so you can pick up and put down the same project. Make me want to hang out in the space and make this unique game mechanic more of a star of the game. It will also make the times players are outside looking for materials feel more like -outside-, since players spend more time inside and develop a sense of difference between the two. You can do the same with cooking. Hike up the value of cooking and make it take longer, maybe make it an idle activity so you can have tea brewing while you knit for example. Very cozy.

This is just my personal taste but I feel like the music became droning very fast. I feel like it's too much for a continuous track, and not enough atmospheric sounds making the soundscape feel one dimensional after a short while.

This game has so much potential, but I can't recommend it as it is. It disappointed me.

Wonky at times but overall nice, have sunk many hours between studying. Worth buying and supporting smaller studios!

I agree with some here that the game is incredibly boring. You barely interact, and the interaction you get to make is frustrating and unrewarding. The Latte art game-play element is so poorly designed and hard to control, and characters do not react to it or even give any feedback whether you did it or not- not even a gallery to save your creations, simply a meaningless game-play element, why even have it? I've been waiting so long for something to happen in the game or in the story, but it gives me nothing. It's built on boring stereotypes and the political statements they are trying to make are so bland and old, all it's saying is prejudice = bad... Come on!

I love this game, it sooths me and stresses me out at the same time in perfect harmony. Music is hypnotic and graphics are very nice and doesnt scorch my eyes after a solid 6 hrs. I like the controls and the freedom to choose just how micro managing you want to be. It's fun to zoom in on random guys and follow them for a bit while you experience existential crisis. It's also fun to set up and manage the perfect map-covering market system. Taking risks and planning ahead, its just so addicting. You get super attached to the towns as they grow. Highly recommend
