For me personally, this is one of the best action RPGs of the last few years.

What hooks me is its mix of survival horror and Action-RPG elements.

I already waste 30+ hours into the demo alone, trying out different classes. I played the demo on the highest difficulty with non-negotiable permadeath, and I had a lot of fun time.

The developers have put all their focus into crafting a very fine-tuned hardcore balance — one that is meant to create different levels of tension for the player while still feeling fair.

All those small mechanics, the exploration of dangerous locations, and the constant sense of danger pull me into the darkness of this game completely.

People in reviews compare the game to all sorts of other titles, including Exanima, but I would rather compare it to Project Zomboid. Both games put heavy emphasis on hardcore design, unpredictability, and the sheer brutality of the situations they throw you into — where you only survive if you stay alert at all times and never let yourself relax too much.

The combat in both is also fairly simple and repetitive, but I do not see that as a major problem, because the real focus is on the survival aspect within the exploration of locations, not on something else. You get a similar kind of repetitiveness in older Souls-likes too, where timing matters more than anything.

At most, the one thing I would have liked is for the default combo to gradually expand or improve over the course of the game, like in Gothic or something like that.

So yeah, this game is very much for a specific kind of player — and I am definitely that kind of player.

Неллохая комбинация идей закопана под лавиной багов и сомнительных геймдизайнерских решений.

Боевка душка, вместо постоянного взаимодействия с врагом, реакция на удары, специальные движения, изучения паттерна, просто удар, пара шагов назад, удар, назад, удар и так далее. Что-то кроме этого делать имеет мало смысла, ибо то стамина заканчивается, то враг не микростанится и просто бьет сквозь твою атаку на похрен, хитбоксы кривят и т.д.

Картограф без карты. Чтобы он её начал зарисовывать нужно ещё кучу квестов сделать, но тебе не говорят каких, хотя логичнее было сделать несколько путей к получению возможности зарисовывать карту - денежный, квестовый, где-то находишь нужные инструменты/бумагу и т.д. Причем это ни с какой стороны не логично так сильно жо-пить карту, ни с точки интереса, ни с точки реалистичности, просто типичное васянское душное решение. Шобы похардкорнее. И так во многом.

Мини-игры то прикольные, то жутко бесячие. Дневник не всегда даёт всю необходимую информацию. Квесты ломаются. Ну и всё в таком духе.

Игра в очень сыром состоянии, в настолько что даже самым ярым фанатам Готико-подобного будет неприятно.
Причем пролог и начальная локация вылизаны и ты не почуствуешь подвоха, но чем дальше тем хуже, а город это вообще *опа.

Теперь надежда только на Sword Hero. Разработчики не спешат и выкатывают дневники. Боевка уже интереснее, механики повреждения конечностей, гг может их потерять и вставить импланты, очень близкая графика и стилистика, интересная магия и т.д.

А эта игра хз. Зря я конечно с наскока купил. Ну подождем может через полгода будет играбельно.

An excellent story-driven game.

At one time I complained about the industry's heavy focus on cinematic games, but now when games with well-developed stories are rare, this game is like a breath of fresh air.

Moreover, this is not a game exclusively for watching—the gameplay in Dispatch is solid, though without much challenge. I hope in the next season they'll put more emphasis on it and make it so that how you manage your team affects the story to some degree.

As for choice, you can say it exists, but you don't feel like it radically affects anything, though overall it adds variety and sparks interesting discussions among fans.
One such discussion will be about Shroud.

The game tells us that people deserve a chance at redemption, and that's true. I didn't see much point in being too hard on Coupe or Invisigal and forgave them with a clear conscience. The whole team deserved a second chance.

But Shroud is different. People like him have already touched the very heart of darkness, and to hope for their redemption or repentance means putting everyone else—everyone still capable of good—at far too great a risk.

F~ck him, I shredded his a~s~s to not to have Beef with that a~s~s~hole. Not ever.

Finally, it's nice that after all these years, this game hasn't been abandoned. The first part was a pleasant time-waster with good humor, exploring the world for resources for your settlement.

If you liked the demo, just go play the first part. Overall, the second part looks like a beefed-up version of the first, which will also be enjoyable to get stuck into.

Sequel became bland and boring.

Instead of having unique situations each level, that become more and more challenging the further you progress, game now just throw at you same boring enemies that don't really feel like a threat. I feel that pace of sequel much less entertaining that in first game.

Would be better if dev made new Endoparasitic with rogue-lite focus like the mode in first game with new mutations and big variety of dangerous mutants.

And yea, number puzzles are boring and suck.

Final boss is so easy, especially if compared to end boss of first one.

Worse in every way than first game.
Toxic degenerative new characters, woke agenda, boring disney-like story. Sequel lost all the charm of the original.
Gameplay is boring and repetitive. All the game you just collect stuff and run from point A to point B.
Even designs of locations become more bland and uninspiring.
No more milkman, meat circle, trenches, Napoleon's battleground, theater show, and other cool stuff.

Big disappointment.

Devs focused on quantity instead of quality.

They added many new characters, secrets and little mechanics that feel bland and unnecessary.
Story is total garbage, dialogues are poorly written with a lot of annoying puns and unfunny jokes.
Still instead of something useful in chests we got a bunch of cosmetics, most of them just meh.
They extended acrobatics and puzzles, and those still instead of real challenge with interesting solutions just wasting your time.

Combat system become slightly better, but still has many stupid souls-like moments.

First one was small nice adventure with flaws, but overall game was fun. With this one they just multiplied all flaws of first one.

Great mix of Mario N64 and Prince of Persia platforming elements with cool chill music and a moderate challenge.
Big thanks for the level design that lets you experiment with a wide variety of moves that you can combine.

The only sad moment is a weak combat part of the game, but it's understandable; it's just a small game with a big focus on platforming that was well made.

I hope in the next game, devs will not only expand the platforming part but also make more challenging fights.
