This game drips with character. --literally--

Go around explore The Sludge, meet other taggers and stick it to GLUG! Don't forget to listen to the sick tunez of Big Mud while you're doing it.

Fairly short runtime of about 3-4 hours of playtime. In this game you'll effectively be going around exploring the world and meeting it's characters. Whilst the game is effectively a collectathon, the world is filled with many small details and interactions that I personally made it fun to explore and get to know the world.

On top of that the visuals are quite nice - the gameplay and sound design feel juicy and the pixelated graphics bring together the whole grimy atmosphere.

I would personally pick this up when it's in sale, but definitely get it if you have even just a passing interest! :)

If thi intro to Barnsworth hasn't convinced you yet, or if Big Ron's Big Pies didn't quite tickle yu fancy, then let us giv it a gu.

From the artstyle, voice acting, animation, writing to the many many layers of jokes this is nothing short of a well rounded masterpiece. From start to finish I simply couldn't put the game down, with every beat in the story of this game they managed to keep me hooked for more. My favorite aspect of this game is how it awards players for exploring and leaning into their world with an almost perfect caricature of British society, whilst it is somewhat on the nose and... slightly, mhh slightly, ever so slighty perverse, it manages to deliver it in the most endeering way.

Whilst it has a fairly short runtime, it easily lands in my favorites and as such will be remembered most fondly. Genuinely awesome work on this kudos to Coal Supper!

To any of my (steam) friends, if you're reading this, I implore you to try this game out.

If you do ideally go in blind. There might be a few points where you can try to look up hints on how to progress (there's guides that try to give hints incrementally (via spoiler tags) which can be really useful.

I struggle to put this game into words, especially since it's been a while since I've played it. What I'll say; this game continues to stick with me (fondly) - and I hope once you try it, it also does so with you.

Humoristic indie gem. I stumbled across this game and the title got me intrigued, gameplay got me hooked.

When first launching this game, I noticed immediately how much I was liking it's atmosphere/aesthetic. Very reminiscent of 90s point and click games.

Playing detective in this game and trying to learn what's going on in it's world feels really rewarding. The puzzles mostly make sense, spare from very few. (maybe using a guidebook once you get stuck for too long is recommended).

I do agree with other on the fact that some aspects of this game, such as it's time and resource management on top of the regular gameplay, can be a bit demanding. However, I would say to embrace not having to complete every cage/objective that's presented to you, in one go that is.

Multiple playthroughs are definitely worth it for this game and that's coming from someone who usually just plays the game once and moves on.

As of the time of writing this, it's in sale, so if you've been curious to check it out, now's the time :)

Amazing value co-op game to play with friends!

Good quality gameplay spread across multitude different game modes and the various other games and shenanigans you can get up to in the plaza areas. On top of this, the game still gets continuous content updates that keep the game fresh.

Overall if you're looking for a great game to play, either alone or with a bunch of friends, this one is definitely worth a shot!

Overall the experience of playing this game is worth it.
From the voice acting and the old school pre-rendered graphics all the way to the plot.
This game does suffer from pretty wild to guess puzzles (e.g. some of the puzzles make no sense whatsoever), which is quite common for the genre/time period, but is especially true for Grim Fandango.

If you've been wanting to try this game:

I would recommend to play the game until you get stuck, then for that part specifically look up in a guide how to advance and then just resume playing normally (rinse and repeat where necessary). This way you get to experience the full world and take it in on your own time.

On the flip side of this if you just stick to the guides that are out there and just follow those, I feel like you're missing out on most of the charm this game has to offer.
