With a name like “Attack of the Gigant Zombie vs Unity chan” I wasn’t expecting much – hoping for somewhat of a B-rated movie or action RPG satire type of experience. Sadly, it just felt more like an student project with some strange design choices. For instance, I clicked on the Credits and Manual from the main menu and found they aren't even implemented in the game itself, and open up in a text file. The instructions that are in the game consist of MS Paint looking images that do not match any of the HUD display. Luckily, someone did put together a guide so I wasn’t completely lost.

Overall, it has a cluttered feel with Unity store assets that don’t go together, such as random modern furniture pieces placed in outdoor areas. All of these items can be picked up and brought back to the main screen to decorate the house, however, the game is poorly optimized and although it encourages the player to collect these items, it eventually will bog down the game so much that it becomes unplayable.

It has a very loose story that didn’t come together or explain any of peculiarity. Combat consists of spamming the attack button – a few special abilities are picked up, but they are essentially useless as the standard attack is far more powerful. Although some of the boss fights did seem original, in the end it doesn’t feel like a game at all, but more of a project someone would share freely with family or close friends.
