When I get home from my day job as a software developer, I like to unwind by playing a game that makes me write (rudimentary) software.

I might have a problem.... But I'm okay with that.

Just not enough game to recommend. I've played more sophisticated trading games on a TI-83+

If you absolutely must play any tactics-style game, I suppose you'll want to play this. The shells really ruin what would otherwise be a pure tactics experience (you get a few free every so often, but when you use them in matches you feel like you're cheating since most players don't use them).

The tactics offering that is there isn't much to write home about. The variations on gameplay aren't that profound, so I found myself bored with it all after a few hours. Everyone I played had much more experience/characters, so I didn't win all that often unless I used shells, which again, felt like cheating.

They keep making it better and better.
