Imagine being in Game 7 against the warriors and you have an A+ my career rating winning the end of a game buzzer beater just for it to say services aren't available and kicks you out to the main lobby so it didn't count (also was my rookie year).

It gradually gets better trust me, your best bet is getting/finding a group of 15+ to get you off of the start islands. Once you get off the start islands the game is actually fun, the rubber banding and the terrible lag is over once you get to a fresh server node. Jat (Lead Dev) has been nonstop updating on social media about what they are doing. Just give it time!
TL;DR GET OUT OF SPAWN ISLANDS
