Pump It Up is a south korean arcade / PC / console dance game franchise that has been going since 1999.
Now, after 20 long years, the series is finally back to the PC and is off to a pretty good start.

As of July 2025, the base game has 230 ~ 240 songs, ranging from The 2nd Dance Floor (1999) to XX (2020 ~ 2022) and new songs exclusive to Rise (free and paid DLC is planned to expand the songlist).

Every song has up to 12 charts (up to 6 in Single and in 6 Half Double) to accommodate various skill levels.
Almost every Half Double chart is new and was made exclusively for Rise.
Many already existing Single charts received adjustments to feel more confortable to play with keyboard / gamepad / handpad.

The game runs smoothly even on older / weaker hardware and the devs are actively listening to the community to improve the game. 3 days after it's release, they already implemented a patch with changes and inclusions suggested by the players.

In conclusion, the game is promising and worth checking out.
