This game could be awesome, but it has some fun-destroying fundamental placement flaws that everyone else just seems to learn to cope with, then still give it a good rating.

I don't really want to learn the various quirks of the conveyor connections, I just want the game to be clear about something being connected or not, especially considering this is the core mechanic.

Google "satisfactory conveyor connecting problem" and you'll fund hundreds / thousands of posts on Reddit and elsewhere complaining of invisible conveyor connection problems, with other players responding with things like "yeah use foundations to get exact alignment" or "it's off by a pixel". Some things need to be built in a certain order or they just don't work at all.

You could spend hours creating a blueprint for your factory, but there's no way to actually test your machines on the blueprint designer. When you actually build them, you have broken connections everywhere, even though everything LOOKED fine. Frustrating. Not fun.

For a game about conveyors and machines, you'd think the conveyors and machines would have clearer connection visibility.

Extremely buggy. Controls are all over the place. If your mouse isn't on the center of the screen and you start dragging to move, the map will suddenly skip around depending on how far the mouse is from the center. Waste of money.

Couldn't get the game to connect to the internet in order to log in and install my DLC. Steam gave me license keys, which directed me to Bioware's website, which I then had to log in to with my Origin account, just to apply my keys.

Game key didn't work, DLC key did work, but stated it was "unknown content".

Even after allowing the game through Windows firewall it wouldn't recognise that I was connected to the internet and wouldn't allow me to log in.

Shouldn't have to mess around to get it to work, especially going through Steam, Bioware and Origin just to try and register the DLC.

This may be a great game, but I'll never know.
