If you didn't play the alpha, maybe you'll enjoy this, but it's bound to get old really quick with how regions work. This game isn't even a grindfest, it just resets all of your gear to borderline useless when you enter a new zone unless you happen to find special gear that will keep its stats for a few surrounding regions.

Some of the quest items you'll get will help you find and get to loot, but when you get to that point it'll likely have been an accidental encounter as you were running to the next region and the loot wont matter anymore.

I don't want to judge the game based on how it was in alpha because while playing the game for long periods of time is ruined, other aspects of the game do look a lot better in my eyes. So while I don't find the game fun anymore, I wont say it's an awful purchase, if you and some friends are looking for a time sink this might work, it's a good enough game to keep running in the background to default to if you run into long load screens or queue timers while playing other games, although if that's all you want $20 isn't a very good value.
