Counter Strike: Global Offensive is the kind of game you spend 1000 hours in, and never get bored.

Positives:

+ The clean mechanics, combined with the high skill ceiling, create a game that is very difficult to master, but that you can constantly improve at.

+ For the price of $15 (or even lower if you pick it up during a sale), you will get countless hours of playtime.

+ KNIFE SKINS ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

+ Not a $60 Call of Duty

Negatives:

- As previously stated, this game can be very difficult, especially for players new to the series (or shooters in general), so it can take a while before you "git gud"

- The community can be toxic at times, but this is true for most online games, and can be avoided by playing with some friends.

Overall, I would argue that this is one of the greatest team-based tactical shooters ever conceived, and would highly recommend it to anyone with plenty of time on their hands, or seeking a challenge.
