If you are looking for a co-op action game where you jump around like a John Woo movie and suplex zombies, you could do a lot worse. I had fun with it. It is completely different from the classic survival horror REs, which you probably already know. This game gets way too much hate.

Here's the thing. This game, and especially the Escape from Durgesh DLC, makes for a really fun and replayable co-op experience. The problem: It's buggy as all hell. For example, enemies and vehicles that the host player can see but the guest player can't see. The guest player can get into a bad state where they can't use healing items until they suicide and respawn.

In single player it's not that buggy I guess and still pretty fun. The unskippable cutscenes are an annoyance, especially for repeated playthroughs, though.

More key information about co-op which isn't in the store description:
- Each player that wants to participate must play 60-90 minutes of single player to unlock co-op first
- Story missions are not available when playing co-op, only side missions and special co-op maps

I bought this game specifically to play co-op based on the store description. In that light I can't recommend it at its regular price of $30, but I'd pay $10-15 for it on sale and suggest springing for the DLC.
