2021 EDIT: As of July 2021, months after the game went free on Epic Games store and they supposedly updated and fixed some bugs, I'm changing the review to not recommended. It seems the updates broke way more than they fixed and added. In fact the only thing I noticed as different is they are using vivox for VOIP now, which sounds much better... except the voice chat is completely broken. Microphones don't work, you can sometimes hear the enemy team or people from another server (not sure which but one of the two), and there have been quite a few crashes. The huge hit to voice chat has broken communication for a lot of players and it's ridiculous how they haven't fixed it. Not to mention they STILL HAVEN'T ADDED A WAY TO AUTO KICK IDLING PLAYERS. I've seen up to 10 players just sitting in game doing nothing and often vote kicking fails and they just sit there taking up space. I'd wait for them to fix the game before I change it to recommended again.
This game is awesome. I get that a lot of people wont like it because it isn't their call of duty kind of game. Good thing I'm not one of them. Overall, the game is fantastic. Gunplay is good, game looks beautiful, lots of factions and weapons, and not really any toxic players. There are a few bugs, but they are nowhere as game breaking as other reviews claim them to be (at least not for me).
