Archeage was always my favourite MMORPG, but it was killed by the many pay to win aspects.
Now a new publisher has brought Archeage to the west and removed all the P2W elements.
Definitely worth a shot if you're into MMO's and PVP.

Revisiting this review after a good month and a half after launch, and boy did it not hold up well.
The game itself is still fine and I still enjoy it.
With that said the continuous poor decision making and lack of community engagement from Gamigo has left me tired and frustrated.
It feels like their updates to the game bring nothing but issues, the final straw for me was when the recent maintenance caused the game to no longer even boot up.

At the moment I would not recommend this game to any newcomers, as I feel the only people who will be able to enjoy the game in its current state are old-timers, who have a lot more patience than me.
