I got Vac-Banned for trying to play a zombies mod in MW2 (2009) back in 2013, I launched MW2 on steam by mistake instead of going thru the modded client which lead to an instant Vac ban. I don't cheat and I have never cheated (sounds like something a cheater would say huh).
