Great game.

Yeah, you lost me at $60 dlcs.

While I absolutely love the game and the story. The game is unplayable most of the time. I have a fairly beefy computer but this game somehow uses between 15GB and 32GB at random leading to massive spikes in performance. I thought I had fixed it and played past the refund time but the problems just came back.

The developers' deliberate decisions to compromise game play quality have elicited significant discontent among the player community, culminating in contentious interactions on forums, resulting in the removal of a developer from Reddit due to unprofessional conduct. Regrettably, their actions have notably detracted from the game's core appeal, particularly its gun play dynamics, which were previously lauded. Moreover, their reliance on stratagems as a solution is marred by excessive environmental hazards, further diminishing the overall gaming experience.

Edit: As promised, the team has worked amazingly to solve the server issues and I could not be happier with how its running. I can not wait for additional content to be released.


Hold off on purchasing this game until the server issues are resolved. Despite its incredible game play, I've only managed to play three times since buying it. It's frustrating knowing that despite the game's excellence, the developers haven't addressed the server problems, especially considering the massive revenue they've generated in the first week alone.

I'm eager to update this comment with a recommendation once the servers are stable. My friends and I adore this game and hope for its continued success, but it's crucial that the server issues are addressed promptly.

I DEMAND A HOARDING BUG PLUSHY!

The game looks good, but still has a lot of under cooked features. If you are looking for a purely vanilla experience then you will most likely enjoy yourself for a few hours. But for those of us who enjoy modding the game, the situation is hot garbage until they decide to actually finish the game. Make no mistake, even though this game is not in "early access" it is very much not complete and is not worth full price.

While I have played an unreasonable amount of time playing this game over the years I can not recommend it it right now. The best part of this game is the modding community and all the cool stuff they make for this game. An yet Bethesda insist on absolutely breaking the mods for this game every few months with garbage updates for their payed mod store that no one asked for.

I will recommend this game when they stop updating it.

I will say at the start of this that the game is fun and I enjoy it . . . when it works. The game has a terrible habit of locking up between rounds or at the start of missions. It would either happen in the animation between turns where the animation would end signaling the next turn but the UI would not come back meaning you effectively couldn't do anything. the only solution is to ALT-F4 and relaunch the game. or my favorite is when you would go to launch a mission and get stuck at the forever loading "preparing for battle" screen.

All in all when it works it very much as the "Mech Merc" feeling I got play such games as MechWarrior 4 Merc. But I can not recommend it unless its on massive sale because the bugs are just crazy sometimes.

I have a love hate relationship with this game. On one hand the game is pure pay to win, between people who buy strong bots and weapons from the start to high level players intentionally lowering their ranking to club seals at the lower levels with their MK3 weapons. On the other when you are faced against players of equal levels its great fun. Matches are quick and snappy and even better when playing with your friends. So I would not recommend this game to anybody due to the sheer pay to build of the game.

The fact that they lock a bunch of interesting factions behind a paywall just makes me sad. I can't recomend a game where half the content costs double the games base price. Super scumy.
