Game is experienced in 4 phases.

Phase 1 - levels 1-30

This is where you get to understand the basic mechanics and get a feeling for the flow of resources. Its a very quick phase compared to the rest but the game can only be said to truly begin after this point.

Phase 2 - levels 31-41

This phase is marked by some moderate struggle and heavier resource acquisition.

Its the beginnings of true industry, but you are yet excessively powerful compared to their environment. This is where you seek out the world's resources and the pals necessary to extract them.

Phase 3 - levels 42-48

A slog, this is where you will spend most of the game. Just more of the same, but slower. Highly limited by the resource respawn rate, the only goal is to seek out increasingly rarer pals to get through it.

This may take as much or longer than the previous two phases combined as it becomes increasingly expensive to do this.

Phase 4 - levels 49-50

You made it, you have the resources, the solid mountable pals, the buffs, the armor and most importantly: the rocket launcher.

Only thing left to do is to go explore, eliminate the bosses and get the legendary pals. The ease of this phase puts the previous one into perspective. It is a day of very rewarding fun, but its where it all ends.

The game will take you roughly 1 week to fully explore everything that is worth seeing and doing if you really lean into it, unless you are interested in doing pal breeding eugenics, which will suck you dry of resources for no gain.

(Just go out and hunt your own pals lmao)

Highly recommend for those wanting to learn guitar. Though the default setup of rocksmith is not adequate for it. You will have to tweak it a little, plenty of videos on youtube for that.
