Interesting exploration of how to combine the fast pace decision making of action games with the progression of RPG systems using a mostly-standard puzzle architexture. Retro Graphics & music are taste-dependant, but enjoyable. End-game success feels 60/40 on skill & luck, after fully upgrading everything.. Short play time, but probably worth the price.

Interesting 4-player Co-Op (AI available for solo play) from the perspective of a criminal group pulling off a Hollywood-style heist. Has some similarities with the Left 4 Dead series.

Somewhat difficult to jump into, this game would have greatly benefitted from a tutorial. Suggest playing a single player game first to get used to controls, but can make due with just the objectives list and Nav points. Upgrade system slightly confusing at first, but actually really simple.

Multiple difficulties and high innate challenge make this great for LAN play. Good for online too, netcode seems solid. Supports drop-in player joining, so you can start with some AI and have people come in with a short wait time.

Interesting retro RPG. Combat plays like SNES classics Soul Blazer or Secret of Mana. 4 playable classes available in both genders. Short but challenging* Story mode with a decent (but slightly predictable) story line. Multiple difficulties. Up to 4 players co-op, bring friends or PUG it.

Only complains, a Cleric is required to make decent progress (solo players get some NPCs to help out), and no Trade system (purposeful design decision, not going to be added).

*Challenging = you will die. Exploding barrel, rock to the face, demon sword in the eye, or just a swarm of spiders. The game expects it. It *is* avoidable, but you're still going to die anyway.

Excellent Action/Strategy game in the Tower Defense genre but with a significant leaning towards Action. Two playable characters with only slight Mechanical differences (starting weapon, starting floor trap, bonus weapon), a well-executed progression system and well written (read: hilarious) dialog. Large number of weapons & traps to play with. Slightly short on story content, but tons of extra stuff to do after completing it. As a bonus, many of the OMD! 1 levels were ported over.

Heroes of Might & Magic (Strategy RPG with turn-based combat) as a single player game. Generally pretty win overall. Lots of side quests and challenges. Passive Tree is nothing new, but well executed and satisfying.

Single Player Rogue-like (Turn-based RPG with strategy elements and somewhat-Hardcore mechanics) with a ton of little details that just make the game memorable. Easy to get started, difficult to master. Only gripe is melee takes significantly more work to pull off than casters, but tempered by game mechanics (melee ends up becoming a steam roller if you make it to end game).

Excellent Action/Strategy Tower Defense with RPG elements. Great fun with 3-4 players. Solo play may be a little frustrating (start Apprentice/Squire if solo, trust me) but lots of variety between maps. RPG elements tend to overshine the Action & Strategy elements in the far end-game, but pleny of fun to be had until then (and even then, strategy is a large part, you just risk running into a brick wall because you don't have the stats for the map/difficulty combo).

Recommend playing together as a dedicated group and sharing items/etc.

This game has character. The narrator is awesome, the action is great, and a number of the annoyances that come from an isometric perspective are addressed and dealt with (for instance, targetting ranged enemies is much easier with the shift lock on).

Single player only, but great fun.
