Fantastic game - offers exactly what's advertised. Never felt more like an outer rim smuggler/thief than in any other game! The game just feels _so_ much fun, there's a lot of creative mechanics that work incredibly well (your pet/friend Nix is especially used really well--there are a couple small parts of the game where you can't use him/he isn't available and it really impacts how you play), and even the DLC are just loads of fun. The story is decent if a little short, but there's side missions/extra content content to fill it out, especially if you make a point to explore and do your own thing. It was just genuinely really, really enjoyable.

Alright, so, yes. This game has some serious performance issues on release. Yes, it has annoying DRM that is occasionally a problem. If these are dealbreakers for you do not buy it, avoid buying it at full price, or wait a few months for all that stuff to be mostly ironed out.

But ♥♥♥♥ if it ain't so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. I feel like a chump for buying another EA game and running into the same problems as always, but at the same time I spend hours customizing my lightsaber, exploring the massive maps, finding all the hidden treasures, and enjoying the beautiful story.

I'm sure they'll have the performance problems squared away in a few months. The game should have been delayed, it stinks of publishers demanding the game be put out early with no concern for the result. But it's so clear the people that worked on this game, that designed it and built it, gave a ♥♥♥♥ about it. That makes it a worthwhile purchase for me.

Good enough to buy. Get the DLC on a sale, but the base game is worth price as listed I reckon.
