I LOVE This game *ahem* but it is very hard and mind stretching. for real. i wish there was more ways to personalize your factory with decorations, i dont wanna just be produective, i want it to look cool and preety. I also wish there was a way to violate the enviroment and pollute the air and water. Cutting down all the trees and killing animals is fun... but i want to make the air so nasty that i have to wear a resperateor all the time?? and mabey i die and respawn but i dont have my resperateor when i respawn and i die cause i cant breath and i dont have the materials to craft a new resperateor and i basically get soft locked out of my game??? please i want that... ok im not a normal factory builder? ok have you guys seen the lorax movie? and there was the guy with the cool hair??? yeah thats a cool guy. LEt IT DIE LEt IT DIE

I am skeptic of games being claimed to be a masterpiece OoOO 10/10 IGN wowzers. Ive not even finished the story but the graphics on this ♥♥♥♥♥ is the best ive ever seen. The zombies look so nasty and gross and I could just stare at the combine technology with all the little panels swirling about. The dialogue is engaging and keeps the game fresh. While not quite a horror game, it has a darker mood to it with very real looking zombies reaching for you. Also great atmospheric music.

Sinleplayer, its great. Multiplayer, its not; Rockstar doesnt really know how to track all the hackers and is prone to punishing everyone. Anyone who has progress made in multiplayer that is, but it is fun to play with friends, not with the open world strangers

Not quite a game, more of a toy.

Pretty Game with story telling, involves moral choices that go along with the resource management also really hard, text can also be difficult reading, playing with the resolution fixes this

Coming from someone who is already a fan of top down strategy games, this is a home run, 9/10
Games are hard for me to complete in a single day, ive never been able too and it has a learning curve, but it also has an ingame guide
it also comes with a game editor for making maps, senarios and such, always great to see developers support community content

First of all, my playtime is low because I orignally bought this at walmart when it came out almost 10 years ago and my computer wen kaput, and lost the cd so i re bought it on steam.

Spore, essentialy is a sandbox game that spans an entire galaxy. You are in control of a species from microrganism to space fareing race and you can basically edit everything you see. And the choices you make along the way determine the ideals of the final product. For example, if you fought and killed the entire way, your final race will be the warrior ideal, if you were passive the entire way, you would be the shaman ideal.

the other half of the game is the creators, where you can make any creature, building, vehicle you'd like. In the Space stage, you do have the ability to edit planets as well as the type, being that of a nasty nasty lava planet of a nioce lush green planet by compleateing the food chain and changeing the atmosphere level and surface tempature. as well as adding rivers and moutains but that is wonky, In the DLC you have 100% control of a planet in the adventure editor.

It does have some action moments, but its not an action-y game.
The game is about 10 years old and a sequel is probobly never gonna come.
