We need more Terminator games like this. Ones that respect the canon, while still being incredibly fun/well developed. It's a blast from the past, and makes me nostalgic for the Genesis era.

There will never be another Battlefield like this, nor a game that captures the apocalypse that was WW1.

I wish the player count was higher because I'd play this over any other Battlefield.

It feels like the good ol' days of Battlefield 3. Tanks, IFV's, CAS, Air to Air, and all the destruction you could ask for.

Campaign is also surprisingly decent.

It's a fun game, and can be pretty silly.

Just a heads up there are MASSIVE balancing issues with the game, with some killers/survivor perks objectively broken. If you're ok with that and just want to have a fun time, then this is a super engaging game especially with friends.

Elite Dangerous is a unique game, unlike any other. Will you like it? Depends on what you are seeking out of it. Are you looking for an on rails, hand-holding gameplay experience with a deep narrative that is written out for you? Probably not the game for you, and that is absolutely a-ok. I also enjoy more traditional games that have a more "go here, do this" type of loop.

However, if you are looking for a game to become lost in,create your own story in an endless expanse and find your own way without help...This is the pinnacle. Get lost in the black doing some trading, upgrading your ship, mining a planetary ring, discovering new systems/biology/stellar objects, or hunting for bounties.

You get a certain zen from this game you wont find anywhere else, and can utterly loose track of time. If any of this or the above sound appealing, definitely give this a go.

As I stare at my Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach and Halo 4 collectors editions (I actually very much liked 4) I am overcome with a sense of nostalgia.
