After finishing the campaign and dipping into the endgame, I don't think I can recommend this game.
The skill system is innovative, but quickly dried up, and there is no real chase for higher power.
The story is very primitive, and the final act was beyond boring. Running after an orb and then clearing 8 rooms was an absolute worse way to close out the game.

A good entry in the One More Turn addiction simulator. A fantasy strategy, mixing map exploration, hero development and army building with some 4x empire development.

A very concentrated grind-a-ton with a seasonal model and a leaderboard. I recomend joining the discord and checking the challenges thread to have some guidance on what you might want to try out first.

What would happen if you mixed Dark Souls with Destiny? Probably exactly this game. An impeccable gun feel, combined with a classic souls formula of push your luck, interspersed a little bit with extraction. Can't wait to play more!

Pretty fun Survivors game, with an added layer of roguelite progression, cool waifus and some nice story.
I'd rate it probably around 70% as good as Vampire Survivors.

There are 2 key problems with the game:
1. Text
1.1 Translation. The developers are from China, and I can see that they are trying, but the game desperately needs an editor. I can guess the original intention of the sentence most of the time, but there is a lot of work to do here.
1.2 Formatting. It's very hard to read character inner thoughts written one the same line as their dialogue, in the same font, but surrounded in brackets. Some additional formatting would definitely help (maybe colour or at least italics?)
2. Balance
The developers made a very fun sandbox with tons of various abilities and affinities, but unfortunately they have failed to figure out how to make the game challenging.
Even when running the challenge tiers of 30+, you either manage to survive first two maps and then you can AFK for the rest of the game, or you instantly die. Game does not become challenging as you go further into the run, because your character scales faster than enemies by a looong shot.
Especially with some of the infinite scaling affinities, like Lightning, Frost and Assault.

I'm happy to see that developers are actively working on it, and I'm hopeful that they can improve this game.
For an example of well-done difficulty scaling, that keeps challenging people as they progress, I can recommend to look at Dwarven Realms.

Quite a decent and fun side-view tactics game.
I found it a bit lacking in terms of exploration gameplay especially later on, and the story is incredibly barebones, but the gameplay was very fun. I've had several issues with the controls on KB+M vs Controller.
The exploration gameplay was definitely designed for the controller, and KBM implementation was incredibly lacking in terms of ergonomics.
Tactics gameplay is decently strategical, while not being oppresively hard (playing on Experienced).
It's fun to swtich up the bots jobs to get more and more overpowered combinations of skills.
Aiming with the mouse was easier compared to the controller, especially considering that you can precisely target certain parts of the enemy (but there is still significant aim-sway you need to counter with a mouse). An aim to the center of an enemy definitely helps with hitting long-ranged shots though.
I very much enjoy the whimsical setting of SteamWorld, as all their games have a certain charm to me.
Overall, a fun and fullfilling exeperince that took me about 30h to complete.

I'm really surprised by the amount and quality of content in this Early Access release. It mostly lacks some of the art assets, like icons, as well as some of the character sprites.
The menu UIs definitely need more work, especially the weapon aspects handling.

Pretty good mix of survival-like gameplay with powers grouped together into Gods, similar to Hades.
The gods have nice narrative and gameplay distinctions and personalities, however I feel that there's too little cross-god synergies so far. Also, I'd like to see much more information on how different effects stack with each other, so you can better plan your equipment and skill choices.
The pixel art is gorgeous, effects look great, while still provide good enough clarity of what's happening in combat.
I don't like the equipment system so far though, because it both feels mandatory for success, while not feeling impactful enough.

The game is incredibly underbaked. Lost saves after switching PCs, crashes, no controller support, and extremely unbalanced.

The card choices often feel un-impactful, The artefacts feel too weak. However there are some cards that are essentially the only thing viable to successfully complete the run. It's possible to create a monster-killing machine, but it is much easier to mess up.
