Leaving a positive review since it will help someone decide. The game is amazing and you should give it a try. If you don't like it , its fine! but i still do ask you to give it a try on your own without the noise of the outside world. CDPR has created an amazing experience and i wish to see more from them!

Ah , Where do i Begin?

This is CDPR's first jab at the Witcher universe and what an ambitious project it was. Witcher 1 does a good job of setting up the Story for The Infamous White Wolf, through the course of the game you discover what happened to Geralt of Rivia after he wakes up with amnesia and this takes place through characters and quests that are really well written for the time.

The world building and exploration is amazing and I can appreciate the vision they had for what this world would become. The combat is something that i wasn't the greatest fan of but I really like the animations you unlock and gain as you level up the skill tree(really fun to see geralt swing a sword and hamer at the same time). The game is filled with conversation and optional dialogue, I found myself always having to make a choice and having the Devs remind me that my choices did matter and impacted the world i was trying to play in. The music as always is so well made for the universe.

The Witcher 1 (with the right set of mods) is an amazing game to play and experience what CDPR envisioned for Geralt and his adventures. Overall I would give this game a solid 7.5/10. Amazing work for a team of 25-30 people , If you can look past how old the game looks and has aged then you are in for an amazing story that establishes the ground work for the beautiful world of The Witcher. Anyway I'm off to Witcher 2, Hope this review helps you decide if you want to step into this universe.

I got my ass handed to me way too many times. I shall GIT GUD and return to this universe sometime.

I started this game after i finished Witcher 3 a long back , the universe was so beautifully designed that i had to learn more about it. Witcher 2 with a few mods is an amazing story experience , it sets the tone for Witcher 3 and does a amazing job too. I was able to look past the annoying invisible walls that wouldn't let me cross to a specific path or weird AI clipping on their world objects since all that seemed minute in the grand scheme of things. If you are looking to learn more about the Witcher universe do yourself a favour and give this game a try.

I love the story and the characters written well enough for you to feel like you are part of the mafia world.

A game with a brilliant concept if excuted well would be one of the most played games on steam , Sadly the lazy devs at day break ignore the numerous complaints made by gamers and focus on " crates and skins " , As usual just another company who is in it for the money. If you want to experience a Bug/Glitch simulator , i suggest you pick this up right away.

A shooter that has a high learning curve but once you get past it , its brilliant!
Each operator is unique while still not making anyone Over powered than anyone , the people who cry about starter edition can ♥♥♥♥ off , learn to grind or shut the ♥♥♥♥ up. You basically get the whole game for dirt cheap and still cry ? You don't need ALL the operators to play this game , i have all the operators and only main 6 of them. If you want all the operators pay the full price then! |
There are games out there like Call of duty that price their games at 60$ for absoutle ♥♥♥♥ gameplay and people dont cry , but when games like R6 let you play the game for hardly 10$ people sit and ♥♥♥♥♥ about grinding.
This game is totally worth it and will keep going up in the future.
Why its worth it ?
Close combat with destroyable enviroment , Operators who stick to the present with ablitlies that are possible in real life.
You really need to use your brain and plan your defense or attack with the team , IT IS NOT A SOLO KINDA GAME!

TL:DR

Buy the Starter Edition if you dont mind the grind
Buy the Normal Edition if you want all the operators and are a ♥♥♥♥♥ about grinding

Just finished the first episode and wow it was a brilliant game , love the fact that each choice i make has a consequence the story was really good. The characters are relatable to and you will have the feels.
i give it a 9/10 , the only downside is they would have made it a little bit longer,But it is certainly worth the buy.
