Absolutely horrid matchmaking and story mode, beside that it's perfect, 9/10, would've been easily a 10/10 if it weren't for the horrible matchmaking and story mode

I used my lunch money to buy this game, but now it's free.

you can be racist which is the main point of this game i think. being xenophobic racist human which is totally realistic like whenever i found a new empire or species i just enslave them or purge them i was so exhilarated because of how fun that ♥♥♥♥ was

with the anniversary update. they pretty much ruined their own game. all the mods i have are all broke because of the new update. you know MODS is what makes this game truly SPECIAL and they're BOTCHED one of the most if not the most essential feature of the game that makes the game what it is today.

Havent had this much fun for years.

It's very similar to hotline miami in terms of aesthetic but the pixel and the animation is better and story too. this game is easier and actually had a story if u died multiple times whereas hotline miami don't (thats a plus for me. It adds that immersion and reason why u died so many times and i didnt get bored after dying. I'm that type of guy who get bored quickly if i died in a videogames)

This game deserves more, highly recommended to all people, kids, elderly, casual gamer, pros

I rarely rate anything beyond 8 but this is def a 10/10 i had a blast playing this. Going to replay this till i'm bored which is unlikely that i'm ever getting bored playing this game

-accused by someone for no clear reason but everyone voted you anyway
- suspected by everyone for reporting a dead body with their 'self report' reason
-betrayed by your fellow impostor

The game is free on mobile except there's ads and limited costumes so i would say it's worth the full price on pc

Borderlands 2 combines two of your favourite things in this world; guns and loot-whoring. You play the game for the story, well written characters and exploring the lore of Padora. And you stay for the end-game character builds, raid bosses and that sweet, sexy loot.

Things I absolutely love about this game:

+Cel shaded like art style (note: this is not actually cel shading) that never gets old.
+Soundtrack (especially from the DLCs) was incredibly well composed, thank you Jesper Kyd.
+Funniest enemies that you can influence and make them turn on their allies, like Goliaths.
+Each playable character has their own unique playstlye and synergies that makes each playthrough feel very different.
+Nothing in the game is overpowered by default, but can easily be made OP if you understand and study your character.
+Developers have continued to give out SHiFT Codes on their twitter and other forms of social media to this day.

Now things I dislike about this game

-Confusing DLC model. Getting the GoTY edition will NOT ensure you have all content. As you still miss out on the raid on digistruct peak addon, which extends the level cap to 72 as well as provides all endgame content such as the OP levels. You also do not get the headhunter packs, which are mini DLCs that provide a couple of extra bosses you can farm for more loot. To save your time like I said earlier in this review, get the Handsome Collection. It will give you every bit of content as well as all content from the Pre-Sequel for a fraction of the total price. Easily a steal during sales.

-Slag and UVHM balance (or lack thereof). Admittingly, one of the things the Pre-Sequel got right was it's better balancing on Ultimate Vault Hunter mode. In Borderlands 2 UVHM, enemies have 4 times the amount of health with constant health regeneration. This might be due to the fact the the Bee Sheild and other items were too powerful in normal and TVHM and that the developers had to balance the game out around those said items. Also, UVHM becomes a slag simulator and can be a bit frustrating at times, unless your a Grog-Nozzle + Herald weilding Salvador. You also become restricted as you need to min/max your character build to completely optimize your experience.

-Some bugs related to PhysX which causes items to clip through floors so you cannot retrieve them. I'd recommend completely disabling this option completely via INI files edits.

-Some imbalancing on characters that make some more powerful than other.

-Pearlescent weapons (aside from the Bekah) are kinda garbage.

Conclusion:

Yes, you should get this game, but ONLY the Handsome Collection as it will give you the absolute best out of your money. Also, I'd recommend downloading and installing the Unofficial Community Patch. As many of the balancing issues I mentioned earlier are fixed and makes characters and other weapons that would be normally neglected in the default game actually usable now:
