This game has a lot of potential to improve, but in its current state it isn't really worth playing past the unfinished campaign.

The campaign is quite fun, with exception to a few bosses/enemies that need some tweaking.
Not a big fan of the one shot mechanics in boss fights, they'll always feel cheap to me.
Especially if you can't see the telegraph for an attack because the boss is so big that it is either off-screen while you are dodging a different attack/mechanic, or is obstructed by its own health bar or terrain.

In the "endgame" I really get the feeling that they just copy-pasted some of the league mechanics from PoE1 for the sake of having content.

I'd wait for the game coming out of what they call "early access" (they don't treat it as such, but still call it that).
It's not really worth spending money on it right now, unless you also play PoE1 and could use the currency for stash tabs.

If you like sokoban-style puzzle games then you'll find yourself right at home with this one.

There are hundreds of unique levels that make creative use of the word mechanics in the base game.
On top of that there's tons of community made level packs that are definitely worth checking out.

At the time of this review I'm maybe 2/3 through the story, but at this point I don't even know if I want to finish this game.

If you are looking for a difficult precision platformer with sometimes borderline malicious design then this is for you.

If you want to buy this because you were looking for a metroidvania then reconsider.
This game only has very few aspects of metroidvanias, and most things can be found on the first run through an area.

This is best experienced by just going into it without knowing too much about it.

Just go with the flow and take your time on the journey.
Maybe smell some flowers on the way.

A very short (about 1 hour) and enjoyable puzzle game.
The puzzles start out very easy and can get really complex half way through.

Would be nice if there were some kind of random puzzle generator,
or a map editor to increase replayability.
