Such a phenomenal game to wrap up 2024. It stands on 2018's shoulders and leaps far beyond, both in terms of gameplay and story. Apart from a few confusing areas I loved every second of the game. 10/10

Really good sequel to an amazing game. This is one of those games that makes you feel like you're part of something way bigger than yourself. Gameplay is weighty and the guns have impact and feel great. It is a stunning game that runs really well. Excited for future updates.

That said, they really need to disclose that Epic Games Online services is required.

The handling is horrendous and it genuinely feels like a mobile game (which it is I know!). AWD cars feel like you're controlling a boat and the RWD cars just drift no matter what. Floaty jank is what I can best describe the handling model as.
The AI generated voices are even worse.
Performance is pretty bad.

The game got delayed this long for what?

What a phenomenal sequel to one of my favourite games ever made. Really enjoyed the puzzles and the world building. Wheatley's chamber 16 really gave me an aneurysm but I ended up figuring it out. A must play! 9.5/10

If ever there were a perfect game, this would be it. So simple yet so entertaining. You have to play this masterpiece! 10/10

Not broken like the Battlefront ports and is actually really good. Modern controls and camera are well implemented. I remember struggling with this game on the PS2 but somehow ended up beating it as a child. Really great game, glad it is getting some love so many years later.

Alyx tagging along made it a very different experience than the base game. It also helped with getting the "The One Free Bullet" achievement. Even if it is considered by many as the lesser of the three Half-Life 2 games, it is still great! 9/10

Solid survival game, really fun with friends. The story ain't anything special but is such a joy to play in coop. For the price, it punches well above its weight! 7.5/10

Terrible performance, especially when there are explosions. Games like this need to be smooth as butter to keep you locked into the experience. Wait for patches.

Holding off on the refund because the developer seems to be aware of the issues. Kinda crazy that they knew but decided to ship the game anyway.

EDIT: Nearing a year and the issues have seemingly not been addressed. Last update was in september of last year. Baffling that this game is at 93% positive with such glaring issues.

My eyes can sadly not take these visuals. This isn't an age thing, I just really can't stand the eye sore that this game is. Playing this makes me want to rip my eyes out and scream. I'm sure there is a decent game in there, but I will not subject myself to this to find out. Good thing I got it for like a dollar.
