Usually not into games like this but if you host a server with friends its a blast, so many different things to loot and build as well as being updated pretty regularly with new items and craftables (only one map is really full the other map is mostly just woods}. I would say if your considering purchasing but not sure, wait till "out of alpha" release comes out in January 2025. Base building and playing Against a bunch of friends is fun though!
