An absolute classic of a game, which has defined a generation of puzzle games to come after it. This game is the definition of less is more, utilising a simplistic yet fitting style combined with gruesome puzzles to create an amazing atmosphere. 10/10

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is an emotional and breathtaking masterpiece of a game, which i recommend 100%. For the price, it is worth every cent. This game explores the devastating impact of World War 1, not only on civilians and soldiers, but also on the mind. The main character, Emile, begins as a humble farmer, who is enlisted into the French army at the beginning of the war. We get to watch the horrors which unfold alongside Emile, and his character is damaged and broken by the end of the story, with an ending guaranteed to leave you in tears.

Another thing to note is that none of the main characters utilise guns, whilst all other NPCs do. I think this is a great choice by the Devs, as it prevents the player from falling into the pitfall of being desensitised to the violence which is happening all around you. Instead, the game offers you a front row seat to experience all the loss and suffering, teaching a valuable lesson about the costs of war.

For my completionists out there, have fun with the collectables and good luck with perfecting the First Aid quick time events, as you need to get all of them perfect when saving Karl for the third time. Other than that, every other achievement is enjoyable to get.

Overall, I highly recommend that everyone play this game to completion at least once. You will not regret it.

This game is incredible! I 100% recommend playing this game, just for the twists and turns. Concept-wise, this game is incredibly unique, with every puzzle you complete expanding your view of the game. This game is just masterful, using a simple concept to create the most interesting puzzle experience I have ever played. Great job Patrick, you legend.

Absolutely fantastic game to play solo or with friends. Going from nothing to a God in Master mode was fun and grindy.

In terms of game play, once you get used to and appreciate the games interesting mechanics and graphics, the world is breathtaking. With thousands of different accessory and weapon combinations that can be used to make your character ridiculously strong. Whether you reduce all damage taken by 75% using Beetle armour and a Worm Scarf, or get a critical hit chance of over 100%, the game is incredibly fun.

From the perspective of a completionist, this game is in no way too hard or annoying, with a slight exception. Two words. Fishing. Quests. They absolutely sucked. Good luck everyone.

Overall, an amazing game, which I highly recommend you play with Friends.

A masterful zombie survival experience, made even better by friends.

7 Days to Die is a zombie survival horror esque game, with a phenomenal multiplayer experience, if you have the friends to play with. Nothing is more fun in this game, than panicking on day 7, as you suddenly realise that your base is in no way, shape or form, adequate enough to handle the onslaught of zombies you are about to face.

This game is being constantly supported by a fun community, great dev team and a host of features that are way more complicated than they seem at face value. The more you look into the skill trees and the books that further enhance your skills, the more possibilities you are given. There is a never-ending combination of skills, allowing players to focus on stealth, farming, intelligence, lockpicking, looting and a lot more. This keeps the game fresh, providing players with different experiences with each new world they create.

As for achievements, whilst they are all possible to obtain, it is not a fun process. With generic, tier-based achievements that leave you farming zombies for hours on end, or running across the map a couple hundred times, they are not in any way enjoyable to collect. HOWEVER, if the game is played correctly, and not just for the achievements, I believe that an adequate job has been done by the dev team. Any 'normal' player who isn't only focused on achievements will have a great time slowly racking up zombie kills and kilometres travelled, whilst spending time in the amazing world 7 Days to Die offers.
For die-hard achievement collectors, focused on increasing a number, not on the gameplay, this will be a grind, but it is eased through the use of guides and console commands.

In conclusion, this game has a vast world to offer, and a fantastic multiplayer experience. I would definitely recommend checking it out with some friends.

A magnificent FPS game that stood the test of time.

This game lives up to the hype created for it, by its undying fanbase, whose skill level has no ceiling. I would recommend playing with friends though, as it makes the experience more fun, and less toxic.

The achievements in this game are a grind, made easier by the helpful workshop maps created by the community to lessen the hundreds of hours it would take to complete the game 'legitimately'. Some achievements require some additional work and downloads, as the achievements which are locked to specific maps are unachievable in the game's current state. This is as the maps which are required are not in the current map rotation, but they can be downloaded using guides.

Overall, this game is one worth experiencing, and I highly recommend it.

A fantastic game with lots to do, even in the post game with the vaults. If you enjoy games that are relaxing and fun, that can also be a bit of a grind, then this game is for you. 10/10 would recommend.
