One of the best free-roam games of all time.

I'd like to give a very specific review for this game. The game is made for a very specific group of people. The game is a large and free open world with incredibly complex controls and hard to understand features. The game does have a tutorial, but I only completed the basic combat, basic flight, and advanced flight. With those tutorials I was able to figure out the rest of the game through experience. To play I would recommend an Xbox/PS controller. I tried keyboard and mouse, joysticks, and eventually I found a controller is the most basic way to play. I wouldn't recommend playing in VR until you get basics down. Once you've done all this the game is really enjoyable, there are plenty of quests that range from cargo delivery, illegal smuggling missions to hunting down bounties and pirates. The missions reward you with credits which you use to upgrade the many aspects of your ship. You then slowly progress from mining asteroids and courier missions to hunting bounties and stealing cargo. There is a lot to do in Elite Dangerous and it'll either be the game for you or you'll hate it. I personally find the game very enjoyable, but I recommend a lot of research and caution before buying.

Too many micro transactions, good game ig.

Amazing, the map is great and is great looking, the only problem is that it takes ages to do.
