Clipping points make a difference too. If you go past them with enough speed and angle you can be getting 300 to 400 points per clip.

Nice, that's pretty good!! Its only about 40 seconds of tandems with ghosts difference in score.

Thats nothing Garick would have topped me, juzi and others at top by at least 5K or more points. (he usually beats my score by 7 to 10K points :DYNO:)

I use practice rather than shadow or tandems online. Then you just run the tandem sections solo to make your points. I also think that us at top usually get an extra run or two in due to speed maybe.
